Something exciting is coming—our Read-A-Thon launches on September 14! 📚🎉

Here's how it works:
* Kids read. (September 14-25)

Also, during the week of Sept. 8-11, there will be a daily drawing for a $20 NEX gift card (4 gift cards total). All students who have registered their Read-a-thon account will be automatically entered into the drawings. Winners will be announced at the end of each day on the intercom.

If this Read-a-thon feels like a big deal, it's because it is! This is the PTA's only major fundraiser of the year, so we are hoping for your participation in order to fund all events and givebacks!

This is a friendly reminder that our Naples Elementary School Open House will take place on Thursday, September 3, from 4:00–5:00 PM.
The Open House will consist of three 20-minute sessions:
• Session 1: 4:00–4:20 PM
• Session 2: 4:20–4:40 PM
• Session 3: 4:40–5:00 PM
If there is a specific classroom you would like to visit, please be sure to review the session times above and plan your visit accordingly.

Dear Dolphin Families,

This week, I met with all students to review our behavior and safety expectations to help ensure a positive, respectful, and secure learning environment for everyone. During these discussions, we revisited our SWIM expectations, dress code guidelines, bus safety procedures, and the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) used in our school.

As part of this review, students watched the following safety videos:

Dear Dolphin Families,
Now that we have successfully completed our first week of school, we would like to send a friendly reminder about our daily arrival procedures to help ensure a smooth start to each school day.

• Students are not permitted on campus before 7:45 a.m.
• The welcome bell rings at 8:05 a.m.
• Any student arriving on campus after 8:00 a.m. should enter the building through the front of the school as classes start entering the building between 8:00 and 8:05.
• Students arriving after 8:15 a.m. will be considered tardy and must have a parent sign them in at the front office.

Thank you for your partnership in helping students develop positive attendance habits and start each day ready to learn.
