REMINDER:End of Patriot Express Flights (Rotator) to and from NSA Naples Effective October 1, 2025

Team Naples, effective October 1, 2025, Patriot Express (Rotator) flights to and from NSA Naples will be discontinued. The U.S. Transportation Command has determined, following a comprehensive study, that commercial flights offer a more cost-effective alternative. After this date, Permanent Change of Station (PCS) travel will utilize government-procured commercial transportation.

For DoD personnel and their families, prudent official travel planning in and out of the Naples area is paramount. Understanding travel requirements and the available options are key in travel planning. Working with your command travel office (Admin) and your chain of command can help set expectations and manage your travel needs efficiently.

For information on travel and transportation allowances for Uniformed Service members, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees, and others traveling at DoD expense, please consult the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) website: https://www.travel.dod.mil/Policy-Regulations/Joint-Travel-Regulations/ . The JTR covers topics such as per diem, travel and transportation allowances, pet travel, and relocation allowances.

The US Consulate U.S. Consulate General Naples will be visiting the U.S. Naval Hospital on the support site on Thursday May 15.

This outreach is to submit a passport application or renewal as well as newborn CRBA applications without having to schedule an appointment, drive and park downtown.

They will be here from 9am-12pm to accept passport applications and from 1 pm to 2.00pm to accept newborn citizenship applications. From 2:00pm until 2:30 pm, we will try and process waitlisted applicants, only if time permits.
