EBIT Project

EBIT Project The EBIT project aims at creating an innovative network of Conferences representing a trans-national hub for industrial and scientific worlds.

EBIT project is co-financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II). Abstract:
The current industrial scenario is more and more characterized by a deep transformation of business activities and strategies. Indeed, the introduction and intensive adoption of various cutting-edge technologies (e.g., Internet of Things, Additive Manufacturing, Big Data, Artifi

cial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Blockchain, among others) is favouring production efficiency, the emergence of new business models, as well as accelerating the innovation processes for products and services. This transformation requires facing and managing an incremental, organizational, and strategic business change, from a technological, cultural, and managerial point of view. Moreover, new opportunities for transnational collaborations and cooperation can emerge, thanks to the availability of new hard and soft infrastructures embracing the so-called open innovation paradigm. In the current transformation context, there is however a lack of enabling skills and, furthermore, leadership vision and operative approaches are often fragmented and immature. The international scientific community has to support this change and provide both methodological and technical tools allowing communication, cooperation, and collaboration, thus listening and responding to the concrete needs and expectations of companies and organizations for achieving this transformation. According to this, the EBIT project aims at creating an innovative network of Conferences representing a trans-national hub for industrial and scientific worlds, through which improve the accessibility to the results of scientific and technological research for SMEs, promote the creation of start-ups and clusters of innovative enterprises, and strengthen the competitiveness and entrepreneurship of economies and the social well-being of territories.
