♨️ Pomarance: Heat That Connects – The Geothermal District Heating Network
In Pomarance and nearby villages, geothermal energy is more than just a resource—it’s a public service. Thanks to a district heating network powered by geothermal sources, entire communities are heated efficiently, sustainably, and with minimal environmental impact.
A replicable model of an energy-conscious community that looks to the future while staying grounded in the land.

🍺✨ Exploring innovation at , Italy’s first craft brewery powered entirely by geothermal steam. Situated in the heart of Tuscany’s geothermal region, this brewery combines traditional brewing with sustainable energy practices. Their commitment to quality and environmental responsibility is evident in every bottle.
study visit participants had the unique opportunity to witness firsthand how Vapori di Birra utilizes geothermal energy for brewing, showcasing a harmonious blend of nature and craftsmanship.

🧀 💨Some images also of , a farm engaged in the production of high-quality sheep cheese. Podere Paterno uses, in fact, a double system, photovoltaic and geothermal, to maintain complete energy self-sufficiency and at the same time generate a minimal environmental impact. Thanks to these measures, the farm’s products can show off the brand of the Community of Food with Renewable Energy of Tuscany.
Cheers to sustainable brewing and good food! 🧀🍻🌿

🔥 From the Earth, Energy for All – Larderello and Its Leading Geothermal Model 💚
In the heart of Tuscany, Larderello is home to one of Europe’s most significant geothermal areas. Here, the natural heat from the Earth is not only used to produce renewable electricity, but also supports local industries—like a brewery powered by geothermal energy.
A virtuous example of circular economy, innovation, and sustainability, deeply rooted in the territory. What an exciting time for our group ✨
