SAFINA (Smart solutions and educational programs for anti-fragility and inclusivity) is coordinated by the University of Macerata, teaming up with the University of L'Aquila and INRCA (public affiliate), and Meccano and COSMOB (private affiliates). SAFINA impacts on the vocation and the social and economic trajectories of Marche, Umbria and Abruzzo. In these Regions, which share common demographic and industrial trends, resilience of communities and people is today even more central as a consequence of the dramatic social and economic damages caused by the recent earthquakes. The Spoke promotes a human-centered perspective in the regional Ecosystem, a perspective where humanistic knowledge (the vocation of University of Macerata) embraces innovation, industries, value chains and promotes highly multidisciplinary activities.
