YOUNG PEOPLE AND INNOVATION AT THE HEART OF THE FUTURE

The final stop of Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Anh’s mission to Campania was the Apple Developer Academy in Naples, where she met Giorgio Ventre and Gaetano Vecchione.

The visit offered an opportunity to learn about a centre of excellence in digital education, technology and innovative skills development, while opening a discussion on possible initiatives involving young people, research and academic cooperation.

This final stop symbolically concluded three days devoted to the present and future of relations between Vietnam and Campania.

The meetings with institutions, universities, businesses and innovation centres laid the foundations for stronger dialogue, new partnerships and tangible opportunities in logistics, trade, education and technology.

INSTITUTIONS AND BUSINESSES WORKING TOGETHER FOR SHARED GROWTH

Strengthening relations between Vietnam and Campania requires the joint involvement of institutions and the business community.

At the Naples Industrialists’ Union, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Anh met President Vittorio Genna. Their discussion focused on cooperation between Vietnamese and Campanian businesses, investment promotion and the development of new ties between the two production systems.

The mission continued with meetings with Deputy Mayor of Naples Laura Lieto at Palazzo San Giacomo, and with President of the Campania Region Roberto Fico and Regional Councillor Fulvio Bonavitacola.

The talks explored the many shared interests in the fields of trade, culture, education and sustainable development.

The institutional programme concluded at the Government Palace with a meeting with the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, confirming the shared commitment to strengthening dialogue between Italian and Vietnamese institutions.

FROM RESEARCH TO BUSINESS: BUILDING INNOVATION TOGETHER

Creating new connections between research, technology and business is essential to turning international dialogue into tangible projects.

At the Honorary Consulate of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Naples, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Anh met representatives of companies and organisations working in technology and innovation.

The networking meeting was attended by Felice Granisso of TeaTek Holding Group, Paolo Sorrentino of Quantum Valley, Alessandro Bruno of QuantWare, Daniela Salvini of Photon Technologies and Joern Hoepfner of Quantum Machines.

The discussion provided an opportunity to share expertise, experiences and perspectives, laying the groundwork for possible cooperation between Vietnam and Campania’s research and emerging-technology ecosystem.

Cooperation begins with mutual understanding and grows through direct relationships among people, businesses and research centres.

CAMPANIA AND VIETNAM: NEW ROUTES FOR TRADE AND LOGISTICS

Campania’s port and logistics system can play a strategic role in developing trade between Vietnam, Italy and the Mediterranean.

During the mission, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Anh met Eliseo Cuccaro, President of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Port System Authority, to discuss port activities, trade connections and the prospects for closer relations with Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

The dialogue continued at the Nola Interport–CIS, where the Ambassador met Andrea Miranda, President of CIS; Fulvio Guida; and Daniele Trosino.

The visits provided an opportunity to learn about two key regional infrastructures and to explore potential areas of cooperation between the respective economic and logistics systems.

CAMPANIA’S EXCELLENCE MEETS THE OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED BY VIETNAM

Economic cooperation, access to new markets and the promotion of Campania’s manufacturing excellence were at the heart of Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Anh’s visit to Kimbo.

The meeting with President Mario Rubino provided an opportunity to learn more about one of the region’s most representative companies and to discuss potential prospects for economic and commercial cooperation with Vietnam.

The growth of relations between Vietnam and Campania also depends on direct dialogue with businesses, greater knowledge of their respective markets and the development of partnerships capable of creating new opportunities for mutual benefit.

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION BRING VIETNAM AND NAPLES CLOSER TOGETHER

Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Anh’s visit to Naples began at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, where she met Rector Roberto Tottoli and Professor Pietro Masina, coordinator of the University’s agreements with Vietnam.

The discussion highlighted the role of education, research and academic exchanges in strengthening relations between Vietnam and Italy.

During the meeting, a Vietnamese publication intended for the University’s Vietnamese Language section was also presented—a gesture underscoring the value of linguistic and cultural knowledge as a means of dialogue between the two countries.

Universities, students and researchers can make a decisive contribution to building increasingly strong and meaningful relations.

From 20 to 22 July, Her Excellency Nguyen Phuong Anh, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Italy, visited Naples to meet representatives of Campania’s institutions, universities and business community.
