The Capodichino fitness pool remains closed for renovations through Friday, June 5. It will reopen Monday, June 8 at 6 a.m.
Some of the improvements to the pool and deck area include:
-Upgraded underwater LED lighting to maximize visual clarity and contrast. The new lights improve swimmer orientation and critical safety monitoring capabilities during low-light operational hours, such as early mornings and late evenings.
-Upgraded overhead lighting, which is improves visibility in the pool and the pool deck areas. The lighting is crucial for safety protocols and hazard prevention.
-New sound barriers that help to significantly reduce noise in the pool. This critical upgrade helps improve communication clarity for instructors, lifeguards and patrons within the aquatic facility.
