At 30 degrees Celsius, even the reds needed a few minutes in the cooler!

A wonderful tasting yesterday at the magnificent country estate of the Van de Sluis family.

A huge thank you to Manon, Yves and Josey from “Mon Vin pour Toi” for this new Luxembourg tasting. As always, incredibly friendly and superbly organized.

Beautiful encounters, a warm atmosphere, and the wines of Villa Cosmiana shared in an absolutely stunning setting.

At Villa Cosmiana, David is putting the final touches on filtering our wines before bottling.

Filtration is a crucial stage in the preparation of great wines. First and foremost, it is about quality: filtration removes unwanted bacteria and impurities that, once trapped inside the bottle, can ruin even the finest vintage.

But filtration is also about aesthetics and that matters deeply to us. A wine should be beautiful. At Villa Cosmiana, we love wines that are crystal-clear: no cloudy veil on the surface, no suspicious particles floating in the glass, and no unsightly sediment at the bottom.

Wine is the blood that nourishes the Tuscan land and it should be vibrant, alive, and limpid.

The tasting of the 6 wines of Villa Cosmiana, every Friday at 11:00 AM (by reservation only), is preceded by a historical tour of our 18th-century villa and a wine tour of the cellars, and is accompanied by a delicious light lunch prepared by the chef of the Pasticceria Ferrertti restaurant in Peccioli.
