Two Socks. A really shy cat. Among the brothers (Romeo and One Sock) he has been the one that still run away if I pass too close. I never touched him, except in rare occasions because of health issues.

In 2018, there were only 4 cats left in the group. The most close-knit couple was made up of Perla (the mother) and Romeo (one of the children).
Perla and Romeo used to be stationed near the entrance of the house for most of the day, and you often saw them taking care of each other.

This activity is called "allogrooming"

Allogrooming refers to social grooming between members of the same species. Many species, including primates, birds, and even insects, groom each other and maybe a means of bonding and reinforcing social hierarchies. Allogrooming in cats can be best observed in free-roaming cat colonies

Nel 2018 erano rimasti solo 4 gatti del gruppo. La coppia più affiatata era composta da Perla (la mamma) e Romeo (uno dei figli).
Perla e Romeo erano soliti stazionare vicino all'ingresso di casa per gran parte del giorno, e spesso li vedevi prendersi cura uno dell'altro.

Questa attività è chiamata "Allogrooming"

Il termine si riferisce alla cura sociale tra membri della stessa specie. Molte specie, inclusi primati, uccelli e persino insetti, si puliscono a vicenda e può essere una modalità per legare e rafforzare le gerarchie sociali. L'allogrooming nei gatti può essere osservato più facilmente nelle colonie di gatti in libertà

Da quando Perla è morta, Romeo vive come se lei fosse sempre al suo fianco. Per quello che ho visto, alcuni gatti del nostro gruppo hanno una relazione più stretta tra loro

Anche se Cacho è il migliore amico di Romeo, alle volte è difficile capire sta succedendo ... fare la guardia? Che diavolo significa Fare la guardia? Vabbè ... facciamolo!
