From 30th August to 12th October 2025

Exhibition of painting, sculpture, and photography devoted to the work of Erminio Tansini

The territory of Pontremoli and its surroundings hosted various sessions of the photographic series “Elusive Shapes” and “Re-Framings”: in 2018 (at Pontremoli, Bedonia, Berceto, and Filattiera), in 2019 (at Aulla), in 2022 (at Valmozzola), in 2023 (at Berceto, Brugnato, and Pontremoli), and in 2025 (at Varese Ligure). These series are dedicated to the paintings and to the sculptures of Erminio Tansini; they have been held in Austria, France, Italy, the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of San Marino, Slovenia, and Switzerland

Mostra di pittura, scultura e fotografia dedicata all’opera artistica di Erminio Tansini

Il territorio di Pontremoli e i suoi dintorni hanno ospitato varie sessioni delle rassegne fotografiche «Forme sfuggenti» e «Ri-quadri»: nel 2018 (a Pontremoli, Bedonia, Berceto e Filattiera), nel 2019 (ad Aulla), nel 2022 (a Valmozzola), nel 2023 (a Berceto, Brugnato e Pontremoli) e nel 2025 (a Varese Ligure). Queste serie sono riservate ai dipinti e alle sculture di Erminio Tansini: si svolgono tra Austria, Francia, Italia, Principato di Monaco, Repubblica di San Marino, Slovenia e Svizzera

ELUSIVE SHAPES

Recycling and regeneration; an artistic project
“Elusive Shapes” [“Forme sfuggenti”] is a series of photographic sets, dedicated to Erminio Tansini’s wooden sculptures

The artist creates his own works with branches, stumps, roots, and logs, recovered from shores and torrents (in the area of the Northern Apennines: Cinque Terre, Lunigiana, valleys of the Taro, Trebbia, Nure, and Tidone)
The “Elusive Shapes” series scenarizes these sculptures in scenographic places temporarily: castles, cliffs, archaeological sites, mountain landscapes, forest clearings, streams or bodies of water

Organized by “In arce (www.inarce.com)”, the series is directed by Davide Tansini and is carrying out in Italy, Switzerland, France, and Monaco. It reached also Pontremoli (February 2018). Furthermore, stages took place in Massa, in La Spezia and in various villages in the area (Porto Venere, Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Riomaggiore, Levanto, Aulla, Berceto, Bonassola, Filatiera)
