Villa di Cala Regina custodisce, prima di tutto, un valore sentimentale. Per Luisa, la sua proprietaria, è il rifugio per le vacanze di famiglia e il risultato di un’intuizione nata molti anni fa.

Tutto comincia da un terreno a picco sul mare, lasciato dal nonno a sua madre. Un terreno allora considerato di poco valore, destinato al pascolo delle capre: perché, in quel tempo, alle donne spettavano, spesso, le parti meno preziose delle eredità familiari.

Eppure, proprio su quella terra aspra affacciata sul Mediterraneo, sua madre vide qualcosa che gli altri non riuscivano ancora a vedere.

Luisa ci racconta da qui le origini di Villa di Cala Regina.

Villa di Cala Regina holds, above all, sentimental value. For Luisa, its owner, it is a retreat for family vacations and the result of an idea that took shape many years ago.

It all began with a plot of land overlooking the sea, left to her mother by her grandfather. At the time, the land was considered of little value and was used as grazing land for goats—because, back then, women were often left with the least valuable portions of family inheritances.

Yet, it was precisely on that rugged land overlooking the Mediterranean that her mother saw something others could not yet see.

From here, Luisa tells us the story of how Villa di Cala Regina came to be.
