وزير الخارجية يبحث مع نظيره الإيراني الاعتداء على مقر إقامة رئيس حكومة إقليم كردستان

أجرى وزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، يوم الاثنين الموافق 17 آب 2026، اتصالاً هاتفياً مع وزير الخارجية الإيراني، السيد عباس عراقجي، لبحث الاعتداء الذي استهدف مقر إقامة السيد مسرور بارزاني، رئيس حكومة إقليم كردستان العراق، ومكتبه الشخصي، بواسطة طائرات مسيّرة من نوع «حديد 110».
وأكد السيد فؤاد حسين أن الاستهدافات السابقة كانت تُبرَّر من قبل الحكومة الإيرانية بوجود أحزاب أو فصائل إيرانية معارضة في الإقليم، إلا أن الاعتداء الأخير استهدف بشكل مباشر مقر رئيس حكومة الإقليم، ما يجعله سابقة خطيرة من شأنها زيادة التوتر وتهديد الاستقرار في المنطقة.
وأدان السيد وزير الخارجية هذا الاستهداف غير المبرر، وطلب استيضاح الموقف الإيراني الرسمي من الاعتداء، مؤكداً أن مثل هذه الأعمال تمثل تصعيداً خطيراً ستكون له تداعيات سلبية على أمن العراق واستقرار المنطقة.
من جانبه، أعرب الوزير عباس عراقجي عن استغرابه من وقوع مثل هذا الاعتداء، موضحاً أنه لا تتوافر لديه معلومات تفيد بانطلاق الهجمات من الأراضي الإيرانية، ومؤكداً عدم وجود أي مبرر لمثل هذه الأعمال، في ظل العلاقات الإيجابية والمتينة التي تربط الحكومة الإيرانية بحكومة إقليم كردستان، ولا سيما مع الحزبين الرئيسيين في الإقليم.
وطالب السيد فؤاد حسين الجانب الإيراني بإصدار موقف رسمي يوضح موقف الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية من الاعتداء والجهات أو الأسباب التي تقف وراءه. من جانبه، أكد الوزير عراقجي رفض بلاده لكل ما من شأنه تأجيج التصعيد وزعزعة الاستقرار، ووعد بإصدار بيان رسمي يوضح موقف الحكومة الإيرانية من الحادث.
FM Discusses Attack on KRG President Residence with Iranian Counterpart
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, held on Monday, 17 August 2026, a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. Abbas Araghchi, to discuss the attack targeting the residence and personal office of H.E. Mr. Masrour Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, using Hadeed 110 drones.
H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein noted that previous attacks had been justified by the Iranian Government on the grounds of the presence of Iranian opposition parties or factions in the Region. However, the latest attack directly targeted the residence of the President of the KRG, making it a dangerous precedent that could further escalate tensions and threaten regional stability.
H.E. the Minister condemned the unjustified attack and requested clarification of the official Iranian position regarding the incident, stressing that such acts constitute a dangerous escalation that could have negative repercussions for Iraq’s security and regional stability.
For his part, H.E. Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed his surprise at the occurrence of such an attack, explaining that he had no information indicating that the attacks had originated from Iranian territory, stressing that there was no justification for such acts, particularly in light of the positive and strong relations between the Iranian Government and the KRG, especially with the two main political parties in the Region.
H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein called on the Iranian side to issue an official position clarifying the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the attack and the parties or reasons behind it. For his part, H.E. Minister Araghchi reaffirmed his country’s rejection of anything that could fuel escalation or undermine stability and pledged to issue an official statement clarifying the Iranian Government’s position on the incident.
