Another inspiring day filled with sharing, networking, multidisciplinary discussions, and new perspectives for the future of radiation oncology.
A strong and valuable participation from the AITRO and its community once again highlighted the important contribution of RTTs within the international scientific landscape and exciting new partnerships between societies.
✨ Nico Iosca presented "Assessing RTT's workplace needs: tailoring a new APRT role for complex radiotherapy settings" and chaired "Co-creating care: when patients and providers decide together" session;
✨Andrea Lastrucci presented "Patient perceptions of tattoos in breast radiotherapy: preliminary findings from the BRIGHT study";
✨Valerio Pisoni presented "Augmented SBRT with Raypilot: an RTT's perspective" and chaired the "Optimising paediatric and AYA care during and beyond radiotherapy" session;
✨Sara Iacovone presented "Pediatric VMAT-TBI in allogeneic HSCT: dosimetric fidelity and reproducibility under CBCT guidance with Systematic in Vivo Dosimetry";
✨Maria Elena Piazzolla presented "Understanding emotional adaptation in hadron therapy: narrative and linguistic analysis of patient's experiences";
✨ Also, many scientific posters were presented by Lucrezia Bernabucci, Valerio Pisoni, Leonardo Nicotera, Massimo Sarra Fiore, Antonio Vittorio Merola.
