Did you know that your organisation's internet address configuration ('DNS') has a big impact on how secure your email communications are, and whether others can send emails pretending to be you?

NCSC have a free tool you can use to check your organisation's domain name in 30 seconds: https://checkcybersecurity.service.ncsc.gov.uk/email-security-check/

It should come back like ours does in the image. All of the indicators need to be green, but if they are not it is an easy fix for your IT department or provider. You can also ask us if you need help or advice.

When we looked into parcel delivery and parking ticket scams Islanders had been receiving by SMS this morning, we found a network of 215 newly registered websites with alerts being sent out via a Chinese messaging service. These are not legit: even if you are expecting a parcel (or a parking ticket), don't click.
