A lot has happened since my visit home to Síamsa Sráide Street Festival Swinford & the launch in Ireland of Martina Shiel Wintour and An Irish Jersey Journey book. Live podcast made less terrifying by the professionalism of Tommy Stenson Swinford Chats Podcast followed by an interview by the gentleman who is Henry McGladeTV Ireland.
Mayo GAA then won the All IrelandFootball Final following a 75 year wait bringing Sam home - literally - to Mayo & a tour of the county.
Difficult too to express the feeling of seeing a book which you compiled listed on Kennys Bookshop website!

Looking forward to visiting Irish in Britain exhibition Queen's University Belfast and enjoy too a few days at the Fleadh Cheoil in Belfast. The Look Back to Look Forward:50 years of the Irish in Britain has been timed to coincide with the Fleadh Cheoil 2026 held in Belfast for the first time. The exhibition can be viewed at the Elmwood Hall until August 16th.

Look Back to Look Forward is a major public exhibition built on oral histories from Irish people who moved to Britain over the past five decades.
