Please be advised that the Executive will meet on Wednesday, September 19 to discuss the new Board Structure, and the agencies that have approached us to help with Early Childhood Development, Agriculture, and Sports. International Volunteer Academy
Type: Youth, Volunteerism and Education

What is IVA? IVA stands for International Volunteer Academy. We’re a group of young people from across the world who want to make a difference in this world. Our Motto “Creating a Youth Culture of Peace through Service.” Through our own efforts as well as through working with other young people, we serve our community.

The more practical and external definition of IVA is it is a training program for young people to become skilled in the field of Social Work. These skills can be acquired through working within a local community, experiencing international service work, and creating personal projects.

The Executive will be Hosting a test of our latest Social project dubbed "Teen Forum" Please all, attend if you are available and help us to decipher whether or not the Agenda is feasible. We will meet at the Meeting Hall of the Catholic Church on Wednesday September 21 @ 6:30pm..Please come armed with Ideas!

Today is not a holiday; let us honour the mandate to show civic responsibility and put hands and minds together in labour for the state. The Daughters of Society endorses this year’s Labour Day effort, I hope those who support our cause will do the same. Let us unite our delicate hands to raise a strong Jamaica. It is our right, it is a privilege.
