The Jamnesia Surf Camp, situated in Eight Mile, Bull Bay, Jamaica, was established by the Wilmots – Jamaica’s first surfing family – to provide a home to groom new surfers and help with the development of surfing through surf related events. Jamaica is ideally located to benefit from the available summer and winter swells that grace the Caribbean, and Jamnesia is the perfect base camp from which to launch your Jamaican surf adventure. Jamnesia caters to travelling surfers by providing economical tent and room options at affordable rates. Special package deals include airport pickup and drop off, lodging, meals, surfboard rental, surf instruction and surf shuttle. Shopping and cultural sight seeing tours are also available. Jamnesia provides members with surfboard repair and rentals, as well as a wide surf magazine and video library. Our members comprise a large percentage of the National Surfing Teams with men and women open and junior champions all being “Jamnesiacs.” Jamnesia is not only home for most of Jamaica’s top surfers, or where they learned to surf, but where many future champs are learning now. Jamnesia provides learn-to-surf classes for adults and children. Now lots of men, women, boys, and girls are having the time of their lives SURFING! And for those who love the land version of the sport, Jamnesia has its very own skate bowl.
