Even though International Women’s Day 2026 has passed, the spirit of celebrating women in leadership continues at the Authority. Today, we proudly spotlight some of the remarkable women who embody this year’s theme, “Give to Gain.”

Through integrity, innovation, diligence, and service, they help shape a stronger investment environment and a brighter future for Jamaica.

From advancing technical excellence and sustainable development to strengthening monitoring systems and safeguarding compliance and governance, these leaders play a critical role in ensuring our Special Economic Zones remain credible, competitive, and future-ready.

Their work reminds us that leadership is not only about guiding teams — it is about building resilient institutions, empowering progress, and creating opportunities for businesses, communities, and generations to come.

At JSEZA, we continue to celebrate and appreciate the contributions of women whose dedication and expertise help drive national development.

As we observe International Women’s Day under the theme ‘Give to Gain’ , our CEO, Kelli-Dawn Hamilton reflects on the powerful role women play in shaping national development.

Across the Authority, women contribute leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction every day by strengthening governance, supporting regulatory reform, and facilitating investment that drives Jamaica’s economic progress.

Their dedication helps position Jamaica as a competitive global investment destination and ensures that growth is structured, sustainable, and impactful.

Because when women give their vision, commitment, and leadership, Jamaica gains opportunity, resilience, and a stronger economic future.

Designated as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), MJS Industrial Park Limited stands as a strong example of how innovation, efficiency, and global competitiveness can thrive within Jamaica’s SEZ framework. Notably, it is the first SEZ of its kind in the parish, marking a significant milestone in the community economic development.

Through strategic investment, modern operations, and a commitment to excellence, MJS has built a reputation for high-quality production, operational resilience, and consistent performance in international markets. The park hosts a dynamic mix of both local and international companies operating across multiple sectors, including logistics, manufacturing, and global digital services, demonstrating the diversity and strength of Jamaica’s evolving SEZ landscape.

Their achievements reflect the core objectives of the SEZ regime, driving exports, creating sustainable employment, strengthening value chains, and enhancing Jamaica’s position as a competitive business destination.

JSEZA is proud to highlight MJS as part of our growing network of SEZs that are actively contributing to national development and long-term economic resilience.

ETech, a provider of technology-enabled business process outsourcing services within the SEZ regime, demonstrated strong leadership, preparedness, and operational resilience in its response to Hurricane Melissa.

Ahead of the hurricane, ETech implemented proactive business continuity measures, including early workforce communication, preparedness planning, and operational readiness to safeguard employees and ensure uninterrupted service delivery for global clients.

During the recovery phase, ETech supported more than 300 team members across Western Jamaica, providing relief items and facilitating a safe, structured return to work. This coordinated response reflects ETech’s ability to protect its workforce while maintaining operational stability, service quality, and client confidence.

ETech’s actions highlight the strength of Jamaica’s Special Economic Zone regime—delivering reliable, high-value services while remaining resilient and operational even in the face of external shocks—reinforcing Jamaica’s position as a trusted destination for nearshore and outsourcing investment.
