Supervisor of Insolvency, Fayola Evans Roberts, engaged Grades 5 and 6 students during Read Across Jamaica Day at the McAuley Primary School in Spanish Town, St. Catherine yesterday.

The interactive reading sessions which were centred on “Money Matters,” encouraged students to build healthy financial habits through saving, budgeting, and responsible spending.

Students also received tokens and were empowered with practical lessons on making wise financial decisions from an early age.

This initiative forms part of the OSI’s ongoing commitment to promoting financial literacy and fostering a culture of responsible money management among Jamaica’s youth.

Financial challenges are an everyday reality for many Jamaicans, including our educators who often rely on a single, steady income.

This sensitization session with the Jamaica Teachers’ Association aims to provide teachers with a clear, practical understanding of financial options available under the insolvency regime. Led by the Supervisor of Insolvency, the discussion will dispel myths surrounding insolvency and empower our teachers to manage financial difficulty in a structured and responsible way, while maintaining stability and peace of mind.

Join the session and gain the confidence to reach out if you, or anyone you know may need help.

Team OSI extends warm Easter greetings and best wishes for a season of renewal, hope, and peace. ✨✝️ hill
