Embassy of Brazil in Jamaica Is responsible for bilateral relations between Brazil and Jamaica and acts as the Permanent Mission It also provides consular services for the Cayman islands.

The Embassy of Brazil in Kingston is primarily responsible for bilateral relations between Brazil and Jamaica. Brazil and Jamaica established diplomatic relations on 14 October 1962. The Embassy provides representation and negotiation of Brazilian interests with the government and also with private institutions in Jamaica. It regularly organises trade promotion activities and disseminates inform

ation geared to enhance the image and culture of Brazil in Jamaica. Additionally the Embassy coordinates technical cooperation provided by Brazil through the Brazilian Cooperation Agency - ABC in the fields of agriculture, education, health and planning, among others. The Embassy also hosts the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the International Seabed Authority. Emergencies
