The C.B. Facey Foundation

The C.B. Facey Foundation Investing in Jamaica's Future through Basic Education, The Arts & The Environment.

The Facey family and the Pan-Jamaican Group of Companies have joined together to provide financial as well as administrative support for the Cecil Boswell Facey Foundation which seeks to make a significant and worthwhile contribution to Jamaica. Named after the late Mr Cecil Boswell Facey, the foundation has adapted his mantra of believing in the supreme worth of the individual and the idea that

every success means a duty to the less fortunate and the empowerment of others. The success of the Pan-Jamaican Group of companies makes it an obligation for us to ensure that the human resources of our country are neither under utilized nor starved of opportunity. With that being said, we are dedicated to helping deserving persons and programs in our society in the areas of Basic Education, The Arts & The Environment. The foundation has been funded by grants from Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Limited, Jamaica Property Investments and First Jamaica Investments Limited in the form of cash and securities. The Foundation will also solicit grants from organizations and individuals both in Jamaica and overseas. The Ministry of Finance has granted tax exempt status to the Foundation allowing for all deductions made to be tax deductible.

$10M for The Arts 🎭

Pan Jamaica Group is proud to join corporate Jamaica in the Little Theatre upgrade efforts by contributing $10M towards replacing the iconic venue's 35 year old air conditioning system.

The Little Theatre is a landmark space that has shaped Jamaican creativity for generations and continues to inspire the next wave of talent. 🇯🇲

Where art meets healing ❤️‍🩹🎨

Our scholar and sculptor, Thrisha Lee Hurst, transforms the trauma of domestic abuse into powerful visual expressions of how it affects the body.

Through clay and colour she creates pieces that speak to the devastating effects and strength found in reclaiming one’s body and story💪🏽. In her hands, Thrisha's work reminds us that art can be both a voice and a release.

From an interest in medicine to a career in the arts 💫

Toni-Ann Loutin’s large-scale self portraits explore the beautiful exchange between self and surroundings.

Her pieces feature striking black, grey, and white tones layered with bursts of colour and texture that highlight moments tied to her real-life experiences. Through her art, our scholar invites us into a world where identity and environment flow into each other seamlessly.

A legacy reborn through art and music 🎶

In a heartfelt tribute to her grandfather, the legendary Everald Brown, Venice Black pours memory, spirit, and lineage into this body of work. Rooted in childhood moments in St. Ann, sacred instruments, and praise to the Most High, each piece moves between remembrance and reverence.

Through her own lens, our scholar carries her grandfather's legacy forward while carving a path uniquely her own.

Hurricane Melissa was a sobering reminder of how quickly life can change, and how much we must rely on each other.

Thank you to the and for helping us to identify and access communities in St. James that were previously marooned or had received little to no aid.

In moments like these, community matters - now more than ever.

Stronger Together 💪

Last week, team members across the Pan Jamaica Group joined forces to assemble care packages for families affected by Hurricane Melissa.

From solar chargers and tinned food to water-purification tablets, our team donated and packed more than 600 care packages for some of the hardest-hit parishes.

Recovery will take time, but we’re here for the long haul. 🇯🇲

Now, more than ever, we need to lean on each other, to lend a hand, share a resource, and offer a comforting presence.

The Pan Jamaica Group and C. B. Facey Foundation are committed to supporting our people and the rebuilding effort. Let's work together to restore and renew.
