Today we honour the birth of a visionary leader who helped shape modern Jamaica.

Edward Seaga took office as Prime Minister of Jamaica in November 1980, serving our nation for 8 years.
He also served as leader of the Jamaica Labour Party for 30 years, from 1974 to 2005.

A statesman, scholar, and nation builder whose legacy still shapes Jamaica today.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Seaga. Your service and vision are not forgotten. ✌🏽💚

Young Jamaica mourns the passing of Youth Ambassador, Youth Parliamentarian and YJ Chairman for South East St Catherine, Mr. Imru Khouri who died earlier this evening after a brief period of hospitalization.

We will love him and will sincerely miss our brother and friend.
