🌱✨ Community, collaboration and pride on full display for Labour Day 2026 at the Amity Hall Agro Park, St. Catherine!

What started as a simple beautification effort became a powerful example of partnership in action, as Agro-Invest Park Manager Georgia Curtis teamed up with dedicated Agro Park farmers to transform the entrance sign into a welcoming and vibrant space.

The refreshed landscape not only enhances the park’s appearance, but also reflects the passion, unity and commitment of the people who continue to build and strengthen Jamaica’s agricultural sector every day. 🇯🇲🚜

Great work by everyone involved in making Amity Hall Agro Park look even more beautiful and inviting!

We are here and we are working!

Agro-Invest is on the ground at High House Basic School in Amity Hall, St. Catherine for Labour Day 2026 and the energy is everything.

For the second year running we are back in this community, picking up right where we left off. Last year it was painting and repairs. This year we are continuing that work with the same heart and the same hands.

Because for us, building Jamaica does not stop at the farm gate. It starts in the communities where our farmers live, raise their families, and send their children to school.

Happy Labour Day Jamaica. 💛🖤💚

Looking back at a session that started the year on the right note.

Back in January, we brought farmers and investors at Parnassus Agro Park together for a capacity building session on the Strategic Advantages of Cooperatives. Some of these are the same farmers and investors who received support through the Southern Plains Agricultural Development Matching Grant Scheme, and watching them grow from grant recipients to business-ready agricultural enterprises is exactly what this programme was designed to achieve.

With guidance from our Agro-Invest team and a RADA representative, farmers walked away with a clearer roadmap on how to build enterprises that are resilient, bankable, and market-ready.

The session covered three key pillars:

✅ Business Mastery — financial literacy and farming as a business
✅ Resilience — climate-smart strategies and business continuity planning
✅ Quality and Safety — food safety, phytosanitary standards, and crop care

When farmers come together through cooperatives, they unlock economies of scale, consistent market access, and collective strength that no single farmer can achieve alone.

The Matching Grant opened the door. Capacity building keeps it open. And months later, Parnassus is flourishing.

Grow Local. Buy Local. Build Jamaica.

This is what investment looks like in action.

Parnassus Agro Park is flourishing, and the proof is right here.

Following the Southern Plains Agricultural Development Matching Grant Scheme, farmers at Parnassus have transformed over 700 acres of former sugarcane land into productive, thriving farmland. What was once idle is now feeding Jamaica and building futures.

The Matching Grant Scheme provided farmers with direct financial support to invest in their operations, and they delivered. The results speak for themselves.
This is exactly why Agro-Invest exists. To connect farmers with the resources, the land, and the opportunities they need to grow, and then watch Jamaica grow with them.

Parnassus is just the beginning.
Grow Local. Buy Local. Build Jamaica.

💡 Investor Insight: Jamaica’s Golden Opportunity – Turmeric

Turmeric isn’t just a spice , it’s also a profitable investment crop 🌱

With an estimated IRR of 67% and a projected net profit of J$7.1M in 3 years (on 5 acres), this golden root is paving the way for sustainable agri-business growth.

Jamaica’s warm climate and strong global demand make turmeric one of our top export-ready crops — from fresh produce to value-added products like oils, extracts, and powders.
