Clarendon Police conducted a targeted operation in the communities of Howells Content and York Town in the parish.

During the search of a premises, officers recovered a black C9 9mm pistol with its serial number obscured. The firearm was found loaded with six (6) 9mm rounds and concealed at the rear of the property.

Further searches conducted in the surrounding area led to the discovery of g***a, two Browning pistol magazines, seven (7) .38 rounds concealed in a bag of cornmeal, one 12-gauge cartridge, one 7.62mm round and a black Blu cellular phone.

Several men were taken into police custody in connection with the seizure.

Around the year 32,000, Voyager 1 may pass beyond the outer reach of the Oort Cloud, long after its power has faded and its final signal has disappeared into history. There will be no announcement, no photograph, no instrument still listening to confirm the moment. A small spacecraft, launched by a civilization from 30,000 years earlier, will simply continue moving through the dark.

By then, the Sun will be only a distant star behind it. Earth may have changed beyond recognition. The people who built Voyager, tracked it, repaired it from billions of miles away, and celebrated its crossing into interstellar space may be remembered only as ancient history, or not remembered at all.

Yet Voyager will still be there, carrying the Golden Record through the galaxy, a silent archive of human voices, music, images, and hope. It will not know what it represents. It will not know it has left home. But in its quiet motion, it will remain one of the most powerful things humanity ever sent into the universe.
