Honouring a Life of Service Above Self.

On March 24, 2026, the Rotary Club of St. Andrew hosted a heartfelt Remembrance Luncheon in honour of Past District Governor Alvaro “Al” Casserly — a distinguished Rotarian, visionary leader, nation builder, and gentleman whose impact transcended Rotary and touched countless lives across Jamaica and the Caribbean.

The afternoon was filled with reflection, fellowship, tributes, and gratitude as Rotarians, family, friends, and members of the wider community gathered to celebrate a legacy rooted in integrity, humility, leadership, and unwavering service.

PDG Al’s contributions to Rotary, the Jamaica Stock Exchange, United Way, the church, and numerous civic organisations will continue to inspire generations to come. His steady leadership and commitment to community transformation embodied the true spirit of Rotary.

Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy continues to guide and inspire us to “Unite for Good.”

During the District Conference, RCSA was invited to host the District Conference Community Service Project on May 01st where we were joined by several Rotarians from across District 7020 at the Boys' Town Community Centre to paint the Resource Library. They also toured Bob Marley's Culture Yard and The Boys' Town Community Centre, where we have several other completed projects, and had lunch.

During the project, the Resource Library's electricity was ceremonially turned on, signalling that the project is nearing completion.

Together, we continue to strengthen Rotary through service, fellowship, and leadership. 💙💛
