What a day! 💪🏾

Our teams came together to make a real difference at children’s homes and schools across Jamaica. Brighter spaces, meaningful support, and plenty of heart went into every effort.

Big thanks to every team member who gave their time and energy to help make a positive impact in the lives of our children and communities. 🇯🇲

Mission accomplished!

The Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) acknowledges the recent tabling in Parliament on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, concerning the non-filing of Statutory Declarations with the Integrity Commission involving four (4) former employees of the Authority.

The FLA wishes to make it unequivocally clear that the individuals referenced are no longer employed by the Authority and had all resigned prior to the due date for the filing of the applicable Statutory Declarations for the reporting period ending December 2023.

The Authority further notes that the filing of Statutory Declarations is an individual responsibility governed by the Integrity Commission Act. As such, the FLA had no control over the failure of the former employees to submit their declarations following their separation from the organisation.

Honouring 20 years of precision, integrity, and public service.🇯🇲

We officially commenced our 20th anniversary observances with a commemorative church service at the Kingston Open Bible Church, marking a significant milestone in our history.

This occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on two decades of dedicated service, operational excellence, and the strong values that continue to guide us as a regulatory body.

As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards while continuing to regulate Jamaica’s private firearm industry and contribute to national security.
