Connecting Agriculture and Tourism for Greater Opportunities!🌱

The Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) invites farmers, suppliers, purveyors, agro-processors, tourism stakeholders and prospective investors to the Tourism Agricultural Opportunities Forum.

Our Tourism Entertainment Academy (TEA) participants shine as they bring their comedic talents centre stage. 🎭

Led by Comedy Head Coach Owen “Blakka” Ellis, the comedians sharpened their skills and stage presence through live performances at Margaritaville Montego Bay.

Beyond industry exposure, TEF is supporting participants in pursuing a Stage 1 Certificate in Entertainment through City & Guilds, combining practical experience with professional development, creating greater opportunities within the entertainment and tourism industries.🎤

The future of tourism is already taking shape. 🌴🇯🇲

During Tourism Awareness Week 2026, the Jamaica Centre for Tourism Innovation (JCTI), a division of the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF), brought tourism professionals together for a hands-on exploration of AI and emerging technology.

From AI applications and cybersecurity to destination marketing, training, robotics and the guest experience, participants explored how technology is transforming tourism and how we can use it to work smarter and create better experiences.

Through JCTI, TEF is helping to prepare Jamaica’s tourism workforce for what’s next.

International Coastal Cleanup Day was about more than picking up waste, it was about understanding it.

Through our continued partnership with JET, Team Tourism was proud to play its part in cleaning our coasts, collecting critical data and building greater awareness around how we manage and dispose of waste.

Because cleaner coasts start with better everyday choices. 💚

Today, Jamaica joins destinations around the world in observing World Tourism Day 2026. This year's theme challenges us to think differently about the future of tourism: “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism.” Jamaica is embracing the opportunity to innovate, empower our people, improve the visitor experience and build a tourism industry that is ready for what comes next. The future of tourism will be digital, but it must also remain human. Happy World Tourism Day!
