A Mother's Day message from your Grove Town Divison Caretaker of the People's National Party.

Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States of America, once said,
"The hands that rocks the cradle rule the world".

Mothers you are special, and I use this forum to say to all Mothers, thank you for your unwavering love, faithfulness, sacrifice, and most of all, your patience. There's a special place in heaven for you, and you are deserving of it. A Mother's influence never ends even when she is no longer with us it seems we can always hear her voice guiding, cajoling,encouraging, and loving us.

I want to use this forum to send a heartfelt thank you to the workers, foot soldiers, warriors, election workers, administrative staff, supporters and the hosts of well wishers we met along the journey. St. Paul, "I have fought a good fight, i have kept the faith..." However, the work we started is not finished. We have more work to do and so i am asking everyone to tighten your seat belts because we have only just began. I beg of everyone to refrain from the mudslinging, the name calling, the whoremongering and the slandering. We're better than that. There are many issues before us and those must be addressed. Our focus should be on our communities, our schools, our youths, our infrastructures and most of all ourselves. Cultivating a better environment and a better Jamaica must become a priority. And so thank you to the citizens of Grove Town Divison of the People's National Party for the opportunity to be your standard bearer. This evening the People's National Party in Manchester will be presenting the candidates who willing be serving the party in the upcoming election. I am joyful, yet humble to be among the great men and women who have been chosen for the tasks ahead. Grove Town Division, thanks for your help, kindness and trust. I will never let you down.
