Applications are invited from suitable qualified persons to fill the following vacant post(s) at the Portmore City Municipality:
Office Attendant (LMO/TS 2) - (2 Vacant Posts), Salary range: $18,647 - $25,078 per week. - (2 Vacant Posts)
Job Purpose - Reporting to the Office Manager, the Attendant is responsible for keeping the suites, pantries and conference rooms clean and tidy; serve lunches to special guests and prepare refreshment for meetings.
Key Outputs- Suites, pantries, lunch rooms, conference rooms and bathrooms cleaned;
Lunches and refreshment served;
Correspondence delivered;
Conference rooms prepared for meetings.
Key Responsibility Areas- Delivers mail to offices and organizations as required.
Collects mail/correspondence as prescribed.
Records registered mail and places stamps on mail.
Pays utility bills.
Keeps records of stamps used; orders stamps as necessary. Minimum Required Qualification and Experience
• Secondary School Education.
• Experience performing attendant duties, or in hospitality/ catering.
Special Conditions Associated with the Job
• Normal office conditions.
• Will be required to walk frequently
• May be exposed to heat and cleaning chemicals
• May come into contact with dust.
