During the exchange, he engaged with U.S. law enforcement professionals and community safety experts to explore best practices in community policing, crime prevention, and public outreach initiatives that strengthen trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The insights gained will help support ongoing efforts in Jamaica to enhance community safety, strengthen citizen engagement, and advance effective policing strategies that build safer and more resilient communities.

Curiosity, creativity, and America’s 250th birthday were on the agenda at the Robeson American Center! 🇺🇸📸

Students from Sir Clifford Campbell Primary School visited U.S. Embassy Kingston for a fun, interactive morning exploring the United States, learning about Freedom250, and discovering the power of digital storytelling.

Deputy Public Affairs Officer Paul Stilley introduced his hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona and shared highlights of Fourth of July celebrations and traditions across the United States, while the Digital Production Lead Sadie-Ann Flemming led a hands-on session on photography and interview best practices. The students then put their new skills to work by interviewing Stilley about America’s 250th birthday.

We loved seeing these young minds ask thoughtful questions, step behind the camera, and connect with the story of the United States.
