انضمت داليا إلى برنامج “المدربين العالميين” التابع للاتحاد الهولندي لكرة القدم عام 2023، حيث أظهرت تميزاً في جميع مراحل البرنامج. واليوم، تكتمل رحلة داليا بانضمامها كمدرّبة مساعدة في المرحلة الثانية من البرنامج، لتشارك الشباب نفس المهارات والمعارف التي كان لها دور في إحداث تحول إيجابي في مسيرتها.

Dalia joined the Royal Dutch Football Association’s (KNVB) World Coaches programme in 2023 where she excelled at all levels. Dalia’s journey has come full circle as she now serves as a co-instructor in the programme’s second phase, where she is able to teach youth the same skills and knowledge that transformed her own journey. ⚽️

بدأت رحلة داليا العتوم مع كرة القدم عام 2013. وفي عام 2023 انضمت إلى برنامج “المدربين العالميين” التابع للاتحاد الملكي الهولندي لكرة القدم حيث تميزت وحققت نجاحاً على مختلف المستويات.

Dalia Al Atoum’s journey with football began in 2013. In 2023, she joined the Royal Dutch Football Association’s (KNVB) World Coaches programme and excelled at all levels.

119 personnel from the Jordanian and Lebanese Armed Forces completed a two-week training course delivered by the Netherlands Armed Forces. The programme focused on strategic communication and civil-military cooperation.

The certification ceremony of this trilateral partnership was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Pier de Vries, Brigadier General Sandra Keijer of the Netherlands Armed Forces; Brigadier General Mohammad Migdadi of the Jordanian Armed Forces and Brigadier General Tarek Mourad of the Lebanese Armed Forces.

Over the next two years, the Netherlands Armed Forces will continue to collaborate with their Jordanian and Lebanese counterparts through three additional training courses, as well as ongoing knowledge and expertise exchange. Each course concludes with a joint exercise, giving participants the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills in a practical setting.

Today, Ambassador Stella Kloth and Dr. Hany Al Shaer, Regional Director of IUCN, signed an agreement launching the project “Siltation Reduction in King Talal Dam Watershed for Enhancing Water Security”. This EUR 10 million project will run for the next four years.

Through this project, the Netherlands and IUCN will work together to reduce sediment inflows, restore degraded landscapes, and strengthen the long-term resilience of the watershed.

The signing of this project further reflects the Netherlands’ continued commitment to support Jordanian in addressing water scarcity and strengthening long-term water security.
