Tomorrow night, 11 August, is Census night. A reminder for travellers, if you're overseas, you don't need to complete the Census.

If someone is completing the Census form at your usual address, you’ll need to be marked as ‘away’ but usually living at the dwelling.

If no one is at your home on Census night, you can let the Australian Bureau of Statistics know. https://info.census.abs.gov.au/help/completing-census-where-you-are/travelling

Not all signatures are accepted on a child passport application.
Digital signatures are common, but they can’t be used to sign parental consent.

You cannot use:
• copied and pasted signatures
• scanned signatures
• digital signatures.

Each parent must sign the consent form by hand on the application. This helps us confirm the signature is genuine and can prevent delays in processing the application.

بتتذكروا تحدي الـ Push Up؟ 💪

بسعدنا نشارككم إنه السفيرة غانلي أنهت التحدي بالكامل، ونجحت بإكمال 3307 تمرين ضغط خلال شهر حزيران! 👏

رغم إن التحدي خلص، إلا إن رسالته لساتها مستمرة: الاهتمام بصحتنا النفسية جزء مهم من حياتنا اليومية.

ديروا بالكم على حالكم وعلى الناس اللي بتحبوهم، تغذوا منيح، خصصوا وقت للرياضة، ناموا منيح، وما تنسوا إنه كلمة طيبة أو لفتة بسيطة ممكن تفرق كثير مع شخص محتاجها. 💙

Some of you might be wondering if Ambassador Ganly completed the Push Up challenge! 💪🏻

We can confirm that she did All 3307 pushups between 3-26 June! 👏🏻

While the challenge is over the need to continue raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing continues.

So please look after yourselves and your family, friends and colleagues ! Eat well, exercise regularly, get a good night’s sleep and be kind to each other!💙

Military strikes and reprisal attacks are intensifying in a number of locations in the Middle East. There’s a risk of further escalation across the region in the coming days.

If strikes occur in your location, prioritise your safety & follow the advice of local authorities, including any warnings to take shelter. If warned of an imminent attack, move to an enclosed hardened shelter, ideally underground or close to ground level. If that isn't possible, seek an inner room without windows.

Airspace closures & flight disruptions are occurring in some locations and more are possible, including at short notice. This could impact flights globally, including outside the Middle East. Confirm your flights before departing for the airport.
