A Canadian delegation, headed by Secretary of State Sarai, visited a WFP warehouse where supplies are loaded onto trucks and delivered to Gaza through the Jordan Corridor. Canada supports World Food Programme to deliver lifesaving humanitarian supplies to Gaza. We thank WFP for its dedication to helping reach those who need it most.

زار وفد كندي، برئاسة وزير الدولة للتنمية الدولية معالي رانديب ساراي، مستودعًا تابعًا لبرنامج الأغذية العالمي حيث يتم تحميل المواد الغذائية وإرسالها إلى غزة عبر الممر الإنساني الأردني.

During his visit to Jordan, Secretary of State Sarai visited Aisha and Hamdan Home-Based Nursery in Marka alongside WUSC - Jordan and the National Council for Family Affairs المجلس الوطني لشؤون الأسرة Supported through Canada's WE LEAD and BUCRA projects, implemented by WUSC, the nursery is helping expand access to quality childcare while creating economic opportunities. We were pleased to meet owner Khadijah Hamdan Abdul Rabbo and learn how her nursery is supporting children, families, and working mothers in her community. Canada is proud to partner with Jordan to strengthen the childcare sector, advance women's economic empowerment, and help children get the best start in life.

خلال زيارته إلى الأردن، زار وزير الدولة للتنمية الدولية معالي رانديب ساراي حضانة عائشة وحمدان المنزلية في ماركا، برفقة ممثلين عن الخدمة الجامعية العالمية في كندا والمجلس الوطني لشؤون الأسرة.
وتحظى الحضانة بالدعم من خلال مشروعي كندا " بكرا "و "وي ليد" ، اللذين تنفذهما الخدمة الجامعية العالمية في كندا حيث تسهم الحضانة في توسيع نطاق الوصول إلى خدمات رعاية أطفال عالية الجودة، إلى جانب توفير فرص اقتصادية.
وقد سعدنا بلقاء مالكة الحضانة، خديجة حمدان عبد ربه، والتعرّف على الدور الذي تؤديه حضانتها في دعم الأطفال والأسر والأمهات العاملات في مجتمعها المحلي.
وتفخر كندا بشراكتها مع الأردن لتعزيز قطاع رعاية الأطفال، ودعم التمكين الاقتصادي للمرأة، ومساعدة الأطفال على الحصول على أفضل بداية ممكنة في حياتهم.

A Canadian delegation, headed by Secretary of State Sarai, met with Syrian refugees in Zaatari Camp to directly hear their experiences and hopes for the future. He saw how UNHCR Jordan - المفوضية في الأردن UN Women Jordan, World Food Programme provide essential services to thousands of refugees residing in the camp. We thank our partners for their continued commitment to providing essential assistance to refugees in the camp.

التقى وفد كندي، برئاسة وزير الدولة للتنمية الدولية معالي رانديب ساراي ، باللاجئين السوريين في مخيم الزعتري للاستماع مباشرةً إلى تجاربهم وآمالهم للمستقبل. وقد اطلع على الكيفية التي تقدم بها كل من الخدمات
الأساسية لآلاف اللاجئين المقيمين في المخيم. ونشكر شركاءنا على التزامهم المستمر بتقديم المساعدة الأساسية للاجئين في المخيم.

During his visit to Jordan, Secretary of State Sarai reaffirmed Canada’s commitment to supporting the country’s stability and prosperity.

Through meetings with Jordanian officials, Canadian and local partners, and site visits to humanitarian and development initiatives, the mission highlighted the strength of the Canada-Jordan partnership and the impact of our shared efforts to advance economic opportunities, support vulnerable populations, and respond to regional challenges.

A key highlight of the visit was the announcement of $46.25 million in new Canadian funding for Jordan to support women and youth employment, and refugee-hosting efforts.

خلال زيارته إلى الأردن، أكّد وزير الدولة ساراي التزام كندا المستمر بدعم استقرار المملكة وازدهارها.

ومن خلال اجتماعاته مع المسؤولين الأردنيين، والشركاء الكنديين والمحليين، وزياراته الميدانية للمبادرات الإنسانية والتنموية، سلّطت الزيارة الضوء على متانة الشراكة بين كندا والأردن وأثر جهودنا المشتركة في تعزيز الفرص الاقتصادية، ودعم الفئات الأكثر ضعفًا، والاستجابة للتحديات الإقليمية.

وكان من أبرز محطات الزيارة الإعلان عن تقديم تمويل كندي جديد بقيمة 46.25 مليون دولار للأردن، لدعم فرص العمل للنساء والشباب، والمساهمة في دعم المجتمعات المستضيفة للاجئين.

اختتم وزير الدولة ساراي زيارة إلى لبنان والأردن لتعزيز جهود الاستجابة الإنسانية، ودعم اللاجئين، وتوسيع نطاق الفرص الاقتصادية الشاملة، وبناء مجتمعات قادرة على الصمود.

وخلال الزيارة، أعلن عن تمويل مساعدات دولية للبنان والأردن، للمساهمة في تلبية الاحتياجات الإنسانية العاجلة، وتعزيز حقوق الإنسان، والفرص الاقتصادية الشاملة، والأمن الغذائي في جميع أنحاء المنطقة.

Secretary of State Sarai concluded a visit to Lebanon and Jordan to strengthen humanitarian response efforts, support refugees, expand inclusive economic opportunities and build resilient communities.

During the visit, he announced international assistance funding for Lebanon and Jordan, helping address urgent humanitarian needs while advancing human rights, inclusive economic opportunity and food security across the region.
