The Audit Bureau of Jordan in its present form has been established since 1952, under the Audit Bureau's Law no 28 of 1952, which has been issued in accordance with the Jordan Constitution. Article 119 of the Jordan constitution stipulates "Audit Bureau act has been set to audit the revenues and expenditures of the state and ways of expenditure".

شارك رئيس ديوان المحاسبة، الدكتور راضي الحمادين، عن بُعد متحدثاً رئيساً في مؤتمر Public Finance Live 2026، الذي نظمه المعهد المعتمد للمالية العامة والمحاسبة (CIPFA) في لندن يومي 15 و16 تموز 2026، بمشاركة أكثر من 700 مشارك وما يزيد على 100 متحدث من القيادات والخبراء وممثلي المؤسسات الحكومية والرقابية والمهنية الدولية، إلى جانب مختصين في المالية العامة وإدارة القطاع العام.

وخلال جلسة تعزيز الأدلة والثقة والأثر (Can You Prove It? Strengthening Evidence, Trust and Impact) ، التي ناقشت دور الأدلة والتحليل المهني في تمكين مؤسسات القطاع العام من إثبات القيمة التي تحققها، وتعزيز الثقة في أدائها وقراراتها، استعرض الحمادين منظور ديوان المحاسبة حيال التطورات التي يشهدها العمل الرقابي، والدور الذي تضطلع به الأجهزة العليا للرقابة المالية والمحاسبة في تعزيز الإدارة الرشيدة للموارد العامة.

The President of the , Dr. Radhi Al-Hamadeen, participated remotely as a keynote speaker at Public Finance Live 2026, organized by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) in London on 15–16 July 2026. The conference brought together more than 700 participants and over 100 speakers, including senior government, audit, financial, and professional leaders, as well as experts and specialists in public finance and public sector management.

During the session “Can You Prove It? Strengthening Evidence, Trust and Impact,” which explored the role of evidence and professional analysis in enabling public sector institutions to demonstrate the value they deliver, strengthen confidence in their performance and decisions, Dr. Al-Hamadeen presented the Audit Bureau’s perspective on the evolving nature of audit work and the role of Supreme Audit Institutions in promoting the sound management of public resources.

Hosts Regional Workshop on Auditing World Bank Loans and Grants

استضاف ديوان المحاسبة، بالتعاون مع البنك الدولي، ورشة إقليمية متخصصة بمشاركة ممثلين عن ديوان الرقابة المالية الاتحادي العراقي، وديوان الرقابة المالية في إقليم كردستان العراق، ووزارة الحماية الاجتماعية العراقية، بهدف تعزيز التعاون المؤسسي وتطوير القدرات في مجالات العمل الرقابي. ويأتي تنظيم الورشة في ضوء اعتماد البنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي ديوان المحاسبة الأردني، منذ عام 2020، جهةً مستقلة لتدقيق القروض والمساعدات المالية المقدمة للمملكة، بما يعكس ثقة المؤسسات الدولية بكفاءة الديوان واستقلاليته، والتزامه بالمعايير المهنية الدولية وجودة ممارساته الرقابية.
وتناولت الورشة منهجيات تدقيق القروض والمنح، والتحقق من المؤشرات وعمليات الدفع، وتدقيق الالتزام، وإعداد التقارير الرقابية.

The , in cooperation with the World Bank, hosted a specialized regional workshop attended by representatives of Iraq’s Federal Board of Supreme Audit, the Board of Supreme Audit of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and the Iraqi Ministry of Social Protection. The workshop aimed to strengthen institutional cooperation and develop capacities in the field of public-sector auditing. It was held in light of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund’s designation of the Jordan Audit Bureau, since 2020, as an independent entity responsible for auditing loans and financial assistance extended to the Kingdom, reflecting international institutions’ confidence in the Bureau’s competence, independence, adherence to professional standards, and quality of audit practices.
The workshop addressed methodologies for auditing loans and grants, verifying indicators and payment processes, conducting compliance audits, and preparing audit reports.

بحث رئيس ديوان المحاسبة، الدكتور راضي الحمادين، ورئيس المركز الوطني للأمن السيبراني، المهندس محمد الصمادي، سبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق المشترك في مجال الأمن السيبراني، وذلك خلال زيارة وفد من ديوان المحاسبة إلى المركز.

وتأتي الزيارة في إطار تفعيل مضامين مذكرة التفاهم الموقعة مؤخراً بين الطرفين، وتعزيز التعاون المؤسسي وتكامل الأدوار، بما يسهم في رفع مستوى التزام مؤسسات الدولة بمتطلبات أمن المعلومات والنظم بما فيها الأمن السيبراني.

The President of the Audit Bureau, Dr. Radhi Al-Hamadeen, and the President of the National Cyber Security Center, Eng. Mohammad Smadi, discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation and coordination in the field of cybersecurity during a visit by an Audit Bureau delegation to the Center.

The visit comes within the framework of activating the provisions of the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides, strengthening institutional cooperation and role integration, in a manner that contributes to enhancing state institutions’ compliance with the security requirements for information and automated systems, including cybersecurity.

Launches an International Professional Qualification Program for Its Auditors in Cooperation with the INTOSAI Development Initiative

أطلق ديوان المحاسبة برنامج التعليم المهني لمدققي الأجهزة العليا للرقابة المالية والمحاسبة (Professional Education for SAI Auditors Program (PESA 2026))، بالتعاون مع مبادرة تنمية الإنتوساي (IDI)، وذلك بمشاركة 52 مدققة ومدقق و13 مدرباً من كوادر الديوان، ضمن برنامج يمتد لمدة عام كامل باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة ضمن توجه مؤسسي يهدف إلى بناء قدرات رقابية متخصصة قادرة على مواكبة متطلبات الرقابة، وتطبيق المعايير الدولية للأجهزة العليا للرقابة (ISSAIs) بكفاءة وفاعلية، بما ينعكس على جودة المهام الرقابية والتقارير الصادرة عنها، ويعزز أثرها في حماية المال العام وترسيخ مبادئ الشفافية والمساءلة.

The launched the Professional Education for SAI Auditors Program (PESA 2026), in cooperation with the INTOSAI Development Initiative IDI, with the participation of 52 auditors and 13 coaches from the Bureau’s staff, as part of a program extending over a full year in both Arabic and English.
This participation comes within an institutional approach aimed at building specialized audit capacities capable of keeping pace with audit requirements and applying the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs) efficiently and effectively. This is expected to enhance the quality of audit assignments and the reports issued thereon, while strengthening their impact in protecting public funds and consolidating the principles of transparency and accountability.

تحت رعاية رئيس ديوان المحاسبة الدكتور راضي الحمادين، عُقد مؤتمر أوج 2026، الذي نظمه معهد المحاسبين الإداريين IMA – فرع عمّان، بمشاركة خبراء ومختصين في مجالات المالية والمحاسبة والرقابة، لبحث أبرز مستجدات الإدارة المالية الحديثة ودورها في تعزيز كفاءة الأداء المؤسسي وقياس الأثر.
وعلى هامش المؤتمر، وقّع ديوان المحاسبة ومعهد المحاسبين الإداريين تؤطر لتعاون مهني بين الجانبين، يهدف إلى تطوير الكفاءات الوطنية المختصة في مجالات المالية والمحاسبة والرقابة، وتعزيز قدراتها في تحليل التكاليف وقياس الأداء وتطبيق أدوات المحاسبة الإدارية الحديثة في العمل الرقابي. ويعكس هذا التعاون توجه ديوان المحاسبة نحو الاستثمار في الكوادر البشرية بوصفه مدخلاً رئيساً للتطوير المؤسسي المستدام، والاستفادة من الخبرات والأطر المهنية والشهادات المعتمدة التي يقدمها المعهد، وفي مقدمتها FMAA وCMA وCSCA.

President Patronizes AWJ 2026 Conference; MoU Signed Between the Bureau and the Institute of Management
Accountants on the Sidelines

Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Radhi Al-Hamadeen, President of the Audit Bureau, the AWJ 2026 Conference was held by the Institute of Management Accountants IMA – Amman Chapter, with the participation of experts and specialists in finance, accounting, and oversight, to discuss key developments in modern financial management and their role in enhancing institutional performance and impact measurement.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Audit Bureau and the Institute of Management Accountants signed a establishing a professional cooperation framework between the two sides. The MoU aims to develop national competencies specialized in finance, accounting, and oversight, while strengthening their capabilities in cost analysis, performance measurement, and the application of modern management accounting tools in audit work. This cooperation reflects the Audit Bureau’s commitment to investing in human capital as a key pillar of sustainable institutional development, while benefiting from the Institute’s professional expertise, frameworks, and accredited certifications, foremost among them FMAA, CMA, and CSCA.
