JUST New Library
Libraries have become the intellectual, social and cultural place for any academic institution with a good reputation. Its accurate research engines work as information providers for different resources and multiple services. JUST Library provides access to a tremendous collection of printed and electronic materials in all fields of knowledge including 180,000 book collections and 50,000 volumes of scientific journals back issues. The library building is about 12,000 square meters, an area which hosts around 2500 library users at the same time. JUST Library follows the Library of Congress (LC) classification and Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) which enables users to access all bibliographic records to printed and electronic resources. JUST Library has an access to 68 databases including about 100,000 electronic journals in full texts available to its users for free; they can also access these resources through one unified and comprehensive index. The Library provides the Radio Frequency Identification (RIFD), a circulation/return self-service which enables users to borrow and return library materials automatically and independently. Using the Document Delivery System (DDS) service, an email with all required softcopies of published research articles will be sent upon request within 24 hours. Furthermore, library users can also borrow any library material from other public-universities’ libraries using the Inter Library Loan (ILL) service.
