「食」と「笑顔」に国境はない！😊世界中の人とおいしいお肉を食べながら、楽しく交流できるBBQイベントを開催します！
言語や文化の壁を飛び越えて、新しい仲間をつくりませんか？
当日はみんなでBBQを楽しむほか、自国の文化紹介（1〜2分程度の簡単な自己紹介でOK！自慢のグッズ持ち込み歓迎♪）やバルーンアート体験も実施します🎈
会場は屋根付き施設なので、雨が降っても安心して楽しめます☔️👍

There are no borders when it comes to good food and smiles! 😊 We are hosting a fun BBQ event where you can enjoy delicious meat and interact with people from all over the world!
Why not jump over language and cultural barriers and make some new friends?
On the day of the event, alongside a lively group BBQ, we will also feature brief cultural introductions from various participants (a simple 1-minute self-introduction is totally fine! Bringing your favorite items or souvenirs is very welcome♪), as well as a balloon art experience 🎈
The venue has a covered roof, so you can enjoy the event with peace of mind even if it rains ☔️👍

【英語が好きになる3日間！「夏休みこども英語教室」を開催しました🌟】
8月4日〜6日の3日間、小学生を対象にした「夏休みこども英語教室」を開催しました！👏✨
講師のCristy先生と一緒に、ゲームやクイズを交えながら楽しく英語を学びました😊英検5級に出てくる時間表現や日常生活で使う動詞も、身体を動かしながら体験することで楽しくマスターできました！
最初はドキドキしていた子どもたちも、すぐに打ち解けて「もっとやりたい！」「楽しかった！」と笑顔がはじける大盛り上がりの3日間となりました🎉
夏の素敵な思い出になっていたら嬉しいです💡
ご参加いただいた皆様、保護者の皆様、本当にありがとうございました！

[Report] A 3-Day Journey to Falling in Love with English! Summer English Class Held 🌟

Over three days from August 4th to 6th, we hosted our "Summer English Class" for local elementary school students! 👏✨

Together with our teacher, Ms. Cristy, the kids had a blast learning English through games and quizzes 😊 By moving their bodies, they naturally mastered time expressions and verbs commonly used in everyday life that often appear in Eiken Grade 5!

Though they were a bit shy at first, the children warmed up right away. With big smiles and shouts of "I want to do more!" and "That was so much fun!", it turned into an exciting 3-day event filled with energy 🎉

We truly hope this became a wonderful summer memory for everyone! 💡
A heartfelt thank you to all the participants and parents!

【「茂原七夕まつりフェスタ21」に出演しました🎉】

７月26日に開催された「茂原七夕まつりフェスタ21」にて、当協会メンバーのフィリピン人の会によるダンスパフォーマンスを行いました！
今回は、フィリピン人の会のメンバー10名が参加し、子どもたちも一緒にさわやかな衣装で元気いっぱいに踊ってくれました。
当日は多くのお客様にお集まりいただき、会場は手拍子と歓声で大盛り上がり！子どもたちの微笑ましい姿や、ダンスメンバーの楽しく華やかなパフォーマンスに、観客の皆様も笑顔で引き込まれている様子が印象的でした。
出演してくださったフィリピン人の会の皆様、そして温かい声援を送ってくださったご来場の皆様、運営に協力してくださったスタッフの皆様、本当にありがとうございました！
国際交流協会では、これからも地域で暮らす外国人の皆様と一緒に、文化交流の場をたくさん作っていきたいと思います。今後の活動にもぜひご注目ください！

【We perfomed on the Festa 21 stage at the Mobara Tanabata Festival!】
On July 26th, the Filipino community group, a member group of Mobara International Friendship Association, gave a dance performance at the "Mobara Tanabata Matsuri Festa 21"!

Ten members of the Filipino community group, along with several children, took the stage in refreshing costumes and performed with great energy. We were very pleased to see such a crowd gather for the event; the venue was filled with clapping and cheers. It was a heart-warming sight to see the children dancing so happily, and the vibrant performance by the group clearly resonated with the audience, who watched on with big smiles.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the members of the Filipino community group for their performance, to all the attendees for their warm support, and to our staff for their help in organizing the event.

【3-Day Summer English Workshop for Kids! ☀️🌞✨】
With the theme "Learn English While Having Fun!", this program help children enjoy learning time expressions and everyday verbs frequently appearing on the Eiken Grade 5 exam .
Incorporating quizzes using clocks and physical games, even children who are new to English will naturally acquire phrases.

【令和8年度 茂原市国際交流協会 定期総会を開催しました！🌏✨】

５月１０日(日)に定期総会を開催いたしました。

総会では、昨年度の活動報告や決算報告に加え、今年度の事業計画案、規約改正、役員改選等について全議案が承認されました。

会場では、振興会の皆さまによる美味しい抹茶とお菓子で、ご来賓や会員の皆さまをお迎えしました🍵✨

皆さまのご協力のおかげで、今年も実りあるスタートを切ることができました。これからも文化の輪を広げていけるよう取り組んでまいります！

[Mobara International Friendship Association: FY2026 General Assembly Held! 🌏✨]
We are pleased to announce that our Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday, May 10, .

During the meeting, all proposed agenda items were approved, including the activity report and financial statements for the previous fiscal year, as well as this year’s business plan, revisions to the bylaws, and the election of new officers.

At the venue, we welcomed our guests and members with delicious matcha and traditional Japanese sweets, kindly prepared by the members of the Shinkoukai. 🍵✨

Thanks to everyone’s support, we have had a wonderful start to this year. We look forward to continuing our work in promoting cultural exchange and expanding our circle of friendship!

【茂原アジアンナイトマーケット出店＆茂原桜まつりでパフォーマンスをしてきました！】

３月２７日(金)に初めて行われた茂原アジアンナイトマーケットに協会も出店をしました！当日は多くの方で賑わい、会場は春の夜の楽しい雰囲気に包まれました。
出店ブースでは、スリランカの本格的な「セイロンティー」を販売！香り高い一杯をお楽しみいただきました。ランタンリリースも行われ、幻想的な空間が広がり、素敵な一夜となりました♪

また、翌日開催された「茂原桜まつり」では、太極拳やフィリピンダンスのパフォーマンスを披露しました。桜の花が満開の中、エネルギッシュな演（武）舞が会場を大いに盛り上げてくれました！
一人でも多くの方に国際交流や異文化の楽しさが伝わってくれたら嬉しいです！
これからも、皆さんに楽しんでいただけるイベントを企画していきますので、楽しみにしていてくださいね。

[ Mobara Asian Night Market booth & performance at the Mobara Cherry Blossom Festival!]

Our association set up a booth at the first-ever Mobara Asian Night Market held on Friday, March 27th! The event was bustling with a large crowd, and the venue was filled with a fun spring-night atmosphere.
At our booth, we sold authentic Sri Lankan "Ceylon tea"! Visitors enjoyed the rich aroma of the tea. A lantern release also took place, creating a magical atmosphere and making it a truly wonderful night♪

The following day, at the "Mobara Cherry Blossom Festival," we showcased Tai Chi and Philippine dance performances. Surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom, the energetic performances brought great excitement to the venue!
We hope as many people as possible can experience the joy of international exchange and different cultures. We will keep planning fun events for everyone to enjoy, so please stay tuned!

講演会「ペルー人が茂原市で学び流山市民になって～地域活動における外国人との接し方について～」

ペルー出身🦙の上村寿安(じゅあん)カルロス氏を講師に招き、講演会を開催しました。自治会役員、スポーツ推進員、消防団員として地域活動に参加し、地域に貢献されているご自身の経験についてお話しいただきました✨。
また、茂原市での経験と現在の流山市での暮らしを踏まえ、外国人の視点から、地域で外国出身の方々と共に暮らしていくための心構えについてお話しいただきました🌎。
参加者からは「外国人から見た日本のことを聞きたかったのでよくわかった。」「日本で生活する苦労がわかった。」「外国人の方が地域のことに気軽に参加できるようにお話したい。」など多くの好評の声が寄せられました。

Lecture “From Mobara student to Nagareyama Citizen-How to Interact with Foreign Residents in Community Activities”

A lecture was held featuring Mr. Juan Carlos Uemura from Peru as the guest speaker. He spoke about his experiences contributing to the community through activities such as serving as a neighborhood association officer, sports promotion volunteer, and a volunteer firefighter.
Drawing on his experience living in Mobara and his current life in Nagareyama City, he also shared his thoughts from a foreign residents’ perspective on how people from different backgrounds can live together in the community.
Participants gave many positive comments, such as ‘I wanted to hear how Japan looks from foreign residents’ perspectives, and it helped me understand it better. ’’I realized the difficulties foreigners may face when living in Japan.’ And ’I would like to speak with foreign residents so they can feel more comfortable participating in community activities.”
