The Nationwide Local Specialty Marche in Chiba will be held at Makuhari Messe on September 12 (Sat) and 13 (Sun). Admission is free, and more than 80 popular local mascot characters from across Japan will gather in one place! Meet your favorite characters, take photos with them, and enjoy live stage performances. You’ll also find plenty of booths and food trucks offering regional specialties and local delicacies from all over Japan.

In addition to two of Japan’s most popular mascot characters, GUNMACHAN and Hikonyan, the event will also feature Chihanachan, Kasorinu, and Mono-chan, representing Chiba City and the Chiba Urban Monorail.
The venue is about 35 minutes from Tokyo Station, making it easy to visit during your trip to Japan. It’s a great opportunity to experience Japan’s unique mascot culture and discover the charm of different regions all in one place.

🔴Dagashiya Makuhari Rocket

Chiba City's iconic "Flying Monorail" is teaming up with the anime Blue Orchestra, which is set in Chiba City! A specially wrapped monorail is now running through the city 🎻
千葉市的象徵「會飛的單軌電車」這次跟千葉市限定動畫《青之管弦樂》聯名啦！彩繪列車現正式在千葉市內運行中🎻

Blue Orchestra is a coming-of-age anime series about Aono Hajime, a high school student who grows through classical music alongside his fellow orchestra club members. In Chiba City, where Blue Orchestra is set, a special wrapped monorail inspired by the anime is running for a limited time through March 2027. The latest URBAN FLYER train is vividly decorated with the series' popular characters.
Around Chiba Station, the station's connecting walkways and the streetlights along Chuo Park Promenade (Chiba Ekimae Odori) are decorated with designs inspired by the anime. Stroll through the area, take photos, and feel as if you've stepped into the world of Blue Orchestra.

Tanjo Farm grows blueberries without the use of pesticides and offers a blueberry picking experience. Although it is not an all-you-can-eat farm, you can enjoy picking blueberries at a relaxed pace surrounded by nature. Take your freshly picked blueberries back to your hotel and enjoy them there. The farm's restaurant, Tanjo Farm Kitchen, serves lunches and desserts made with fresh vegetables and blueberries grown on the farm.

Makuhari Beach Fireworks Festa 2026 will be held on Saturday, August 1, at Makuhari Kaihin Park overlooking Tokyo Bay. Approximately 24,000 fireworks, the largest number ever featured in the event’s history and one of the largest displays in Japan, will light up the night sky and the bay.
One of the highlights of the festival is the fireworks launched over the water, spreading across a width of up to 150 meters. The reflections dancing across the surface of Tokyo Bay create a spectacular and dynamic display.
All seats are reserved and require the purchase of a ticket. In addition to seating areas on the beach, visitors can also enjoy the fireworks from the nearby baseball stadium and from the infield of ZOZO Marine Stadium, offering a comfortable viewing experience.
As the festival attracts large crowds every year, arriving early is recommended. Enjoy a special summer evening on the shores of Tokyo Bay in Chiba City.

「幕張海灘煙火節2026」將於8月1日（六）在面向東京灣的幕張海濱公園舉辦。本屆將施放約24,000發煙火點亮幕張的夜空與海面，不僅數量創下大會史上新高，也是日本國內最大規模的煙火盛會之一。活動的一大看點，是最大寬度可達約150公尺的海上煙火，躍動的光影映照在水面上，帶來震撼十足的視覺饗宴。
