茅野の夏
茅野の夏は、美しい色彩を見ることができます。
新緑から夏へ移るこの時期の、4つの場所をめぐりました。
🌿 おしどり隠しの滝
奥蓼科、横谷渓谷の奥にある滝です。岩を挟んで水がふた手に分かれて落ちるので、鳥が隠れられそうな、という名前がついています。木漏れ日と水音のなかを歩いて向かいます。
🌿 八ヶ岳
最高峰の赤岳は標高2,899m。稜線に出れば、足元は岩、頭の上は夏の雲。ふもとの茅野市街から見上げていた山の、いちばん高いところです。
🌿 車山高原
標高1,925m。ビーナスライン沿いの、視界をさえぎるもののない草原です。空が広いぶん、雲の形がよく見えます。
🌿 御射鹿池
東山魁夷「緑響く」のモチーフになった池。風がやむと、対岸のカラマツ林がそのまま水面にうつります。緑が二重になる場所です。

Four places, caught in the turn from fresh green to full summer.
🌿 Oshidori Kakushi Waterfall
Deep in Yokoya Gorge in Okutateshina. The stream splits in two around the rock as it falls, and the name says a bird could hide in there. You walk in through dappled light and the sound of water.
🌿 Yatsugatake
Mount Akadake, the highest peak, stands at 2,899 meters. Up on the ridge it is rock underfoot and summer cloud overhead — the very top of the mountains you look up at from town.
🌿 Kurumayama Highlands
1,925 meters, on the Venus Line. Open grassland with nothing to block the view. The sky is so wide that you notice the shape of every cloud.
🌿 Mishakaike Pond
The pond that inspired Kaii Higashiyama's painting Green Resounding. When the wind drops, the larch forest on the far bank lies perfectly on the water. Green, doubled.
All of them are in Chino. With half a day you can link several of them together.
