【Joyの目 # 18: 金継ぎ体験｜Joy’s Log # 18: Kintsugi Experience in Kuroishi】English ↓
🏺金継ぎって知っていますか？大切な陶磁器に新たな命を吹き込む日本独自の修復方法です。ヒビや傷を「欠点」として隠すのではなく、それを生かして美しくよみがえらせるアートです。これは、シンプルさや不完全さの美しさを大切にする「侘び寂び（わびさび）」の考え方にも通じています。
実は、ここ黒石で金継ぎ体験ができるのです！✨この間、.komise で挑戦してみました！割れたり、欠けたりした器や金継ぎに必要な材料がすべて用意されていて、気軽に参加できるイベントでした。しかも、完成した作品を持ち帰れるのが嬉しいポイント！ 私は黒石市ならではの津軽烏城焼の茶碗を選んで金継ぎをしました。自分で修復した茶碗を持ち帰ることができて、とれもうれしかったです！
本来は「漆」を使用する金継ぎですが、この体験ではホームセンターでも簡単に手に入る材料でできる方法を学び、自宅でも挑戦できるように工夫されていました。最後に接着部分に純金粉をまぶして仕上げる瞬間も感動しました✨

In Kuroishi, you can try this traditional craft for yourself!✨ Recently, I tried Kintsugi at .komise ! It was such a fun and unique experience. Everything was provided from broken pottery to all the required materials, making it easy for people to join. The best part? Taking home the beautifully restored piece!
I chose a Tsugaru Ujoyaki tea cup, a unique pottery style from Kuroishi, to do the Kintsugi experience. Being able to restore it myself and take it home was such a rewarding experience!✨
While traditional Kintsugi uses lacquer, this workshop introduced accessible materials, making it easy to try at home! At the end, we dusted the adhesive parts with pure gold powder which made it very special.
