キチマリ大使、甲府市長と面会
駐日コソボ共和国大使のサブリ・キチマリ博士は甲府市を公務訪問し、樋口雄一市長と面会しました。会談には、山梨県の駐日コソボ共和国名誉領事である秋田辰巳教授も同席しました。
キチマリ大使の訪問において、樋口市長はコソボ・山梨県の関係強化への尽力に感謝の意を表しました。特に、昨年山梨県にコソボ共和国名誉領事館が開設されたことの重要性を表し、コソボと日本の関係が継続的に促進されていることに喜びを示しました。
キチマリ大使は樋口市長の暖かいもてなしに感謝を述べ、コソボの最近のトレンドや、様々な分野におけるコソボと日本との協力関係について説明しました。特に、山梨県がコソボの柔道チームに寄せた支援と温かいもてなしに感謝の意を表し、両国間の絆をさらに強化する重要なトリガーとなったことを語りました。
会談ではさらに、情報技術（IT）、教育、公的組織の各分野における提携の可能性についても探られました。キチマリ大使は、甲府市とコソボ共和国の自治体との間でのパートナーシップ（姉妹都市・提携都市関係など）の構築を提案しました。
甲府市役所の樋口市長はこれらの提案を歓迎し、友好関係をさらに深め、相互に利益のあるプロジェクトを発展させることを目指して、コソボとの具体的な協力方法を検討していく意向を示しました。

Ambasadori Kiçmari zhvilloi takim me kryetarin e qytetit Kofu
Ambasadori i Republikës së Kosovës në Japoni, Dr. Sabri Kiçmari, ka zhvilluar një vizitë në qytetin Kofu, ku u prit në takim nga kryetari i qytetit, z. Yuichi Higuchi. Në takim mori pjesë edhe Konsulli i Nderit i Republikës së Kosovës në Prefekturën Yamanashi, prof. Tatsumi Akita.
Kryetari Higuchi e falënderoi ambasadorin Kiçmari për vizitën dhe për angazhimin e tij në forcimin e marrëdhënieve ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Prefekturës Yamanashi, duke vlerësuar veçanërisht rëndësinë e hapjes së Konsullatës së Nderit të Republikës së Kosovës në Yamanashi gjatë vitit të kaluar. Ai shprehu kënaqësinë për intensifikimin e marrëdhënieve ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Japonisë.
Ambasadori Kiçmari e falënderoi kryetarin Higuchi për mikpritjen dhe e informoi atë mbi zhvillimet aktuale në Kosovë, si dhe mbi bashkëpunimin e frytshëm ndërmjet dy vendeve në fusha të ndryshme. Në veçanti, ai vlerësoi mbështetjen dhe mikpritjen që Prefektura Yamanashi i ka ofruar ekipit të xhudos së Kosovës, duke theksuar se kjo ka dhënë një kontribut të rëndësishëm në forcimin e lidhjeve ndërmjet dy vendeve.
Gjatë bisedës u shqyrtuan gjithashtu mundësitë për vendosjen e bashkëpunimit në fushën e teknologjisë informative, arsimit dhe shkëmbimeve ndërinstitucionale. Ambasadori Kiçmari propozoi edhe shqyrtimin e mundësisë për krijimin e një partneriteti ndërmjet qytetit Kofu dhe një komune të Republikës së Kosovës.
Kryetari Higuchi mirëpriti propozimet e paraqitura dhe shprehu gatishmërinë e administratës së qytetit Kofu për të shqyrtuar forma konkrete të bashkëpunimit me Kosovën, me synim thellimin e marrëdhënieve miqësore dhe zhvillimin e projekteve me interes të përbashkët.

Ambassador Kiçmari Meets with the Mayor of Kofu City
The Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Japan, Dr. Sabri Kiçmari, paid a courtesy call to Kofu City, where he met with the Mayor, Mr. Yuichi Higuchi. The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kosovo in Yamanashi Prefecture, Professor Tatsumi Akita.
Mayor Higuchi thanked Ambassador Kiçmari for his visit and for his commitment to strengthening relations between Kosovo and Yamanashi Prefecture. He particularly highlighted the significance of the establishment of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Yamanashi last year and expressed his satisfaction with the continued strengthening of relations between Kosovo and Japan.
Ambassador Kiçmari thanked Mayor Higuchi for the warm hospitality and briefed him on the latest developments in Kosovo, as well as on the fruitful cooperation between Kosovo and Japan across various fields. He especially expressed his appreciation for the support and hospitality extended by Yamanashi Prefecture to Kosova's judo team, emphasizing that this has made an important contribution to further strengthening the ties between the two countries.
The meeting also explored opportunities for cooperation in the fields of information technology, education, and institutional exchanges. Ambassador Kiçmari proposed considering the establishment of a partnership between Kofu City and one of the municipalities of the Republic of Kosova.
Mayor Higuchi welcomed the proposals and expressed the readiness of the Kofu City administration to explore concrete avenues of cooperation with Kosova, with the aim of further deepening friendly relations and developing projects of mutual interest.
