Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade marked a proud moment of continuity and change during a Change of Command ceremony yesterday.

CPT April Dilidili closed out more than a year of steadfast leadership, guiding the headquarters battery with strength, integrity, and unwavering professionalism. Her efforts directly supported the brigade during key exercises in Japan, Talisman Sabre in Australia, and Tenacious Archer in Palau, strengthening joint readiness across the Pacific.

We welcome CPT Morgan Ryffe as she assumes command and carries the mission forward.

Safe driving first!

Members from Kyogamisaki Communications Site participated in the driver’s training at old-Ukawa middle school on June 4th. This training focused on driving on narrow roads which is characteristics of the area prepared by the Kyotango Police Department. They also tried riding an electric scooter, which is commonly seen in urban areas in recent years. It was explained that, due to the revised Road Traffic Act enacted in April 2026, a penalty point system (blue ticket) for bicycle traffic violations was introduced, and the rules for automobiles overtaking bicycles were tightened. Based on these changes, practical training was conducted as well. We would like to thank the Kyotango Police Department and the Kinki Chubu Defense Bureau for scheduling this outstanding event.
