Earlier today we hosted the Principal Secretary, State Department for Labour and Skills Development, PS Shadrack Mwangolo, CBS, at the Athi River EPZ, where he was received by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Richard Omelu.
The visit provided an opportunity for productive discussions on strengthening collaboration between EPZA and the State Department for Labour and Skills Development to accelerate industrial growth, enhance skills development and create sustainable employment opportunities for Kenyan youth.
The vibrant export-oriented manufacturing sector remains central to Kenya's economic transformation and job creation. EPZA continues to promote investment, support enterprise growth and develop a skilled, productive and globally competitive workforce.
EPZA remains committed to working closely with the State Department for Labour and Skills Development and other stakeholders to align workforce skills with industry needs, attract quality investments and drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth in line with Kenya's industrialization agenda.
