Tucked in a green rush of coconut trees in a rural village of Bomani in Kilifi County, Goblis Foundation’s Bomani Innovation Hub is a social change workshop that drives and strengthens impact solutions. Working with leading technologists, communicators, innovators, and organizations, the innovation hub improves impact solutions through an acceleration program to tackle complex local socio-economic

and environmental challenges with challenge-based learning. The acceleration experiences encourage and catalyse social enterprises to develop their conceptual ideas into suitable solutions for local challenges. In this way, the Innovation Hub gives the beneficiaries an opportunity to solve local challenges they have selected in their community in a step-by-step organized acceleration program. Innovators receive seed funding, capacity building, leadership skills, and networking to accomplish their ideas. Acceleration provides a platform to stimulate creative thinking, amplify, and prototype solutions, bringing about the successful launching of social enterprises.
