Despite Bungoma county being among the top 8 counties to have benefited immensely in the national equitable share since devolution, it is unfortunate that the county contributes only 2% to the national gross value. No development, no clean water supply despite many big rivers and presence of Mount elgon, poor road network mostly rough roads, people are still living in poverty, no lighting in towns and markets. What is the problem with our leadership? Bungoma people should recall all political leaders and anyone who wishes to vie must avail meaningful manifestos and show commitment. Leaders should provide roadmaps on how they will change the county and bring in development.
