KIAMBUTHI ASSISTANT CHIEF’S OFFICE OFFICIALLY HANDED OVER IN KIRIMARI WARD

We have officially handed over the newly completed Kiambuthi Assistant Chief’s Office in Kirimari Ward, marking another important step towards strengthening local administration and improving access to essential government services.

The new facility provides the Assistant Chief with a dedicated, dignified and conducive working environment, bringing an end to the previous arrangement of operating from home. This will enhance service delivery and provide residents with a more accessible and appropriate space to seek government services.

In addition, funds have been allocated for the purchase of modern furniture for Chiefs’ offices, demonstrating our continued commitment to improving working conditions for local administrators and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Our focus remains on investing in public infrastructure that brings government services closer to the people, strengthens local administration and improves the welfare of our communities.

GOOD NEWS! EMBU COUNTY PRIMARY SCHOOL GETS A NEW FACE

Works have commenced at Embu County Primary School in Kirimari Ward, with a focus on improving the school environment and addressing the flooding challenges that have affected learning.

The ongoing works include:

✓ Laying of cabros ✓ Leveling and planting grass on the school field ✓ Construction of a proper drainage system ✓ Roofing of classrooms

These improvements will create a safer, cleaner and more conducive learning environment for our children while helping protect the school from flooding.

ICT HUB (JITUME) AT KATHANGARIRI VOCATIONAL COLLEGE, NGINDA WARD

We are investing in ICT Hubs and Job Centres to equip our young people with the digital skills, tools, and opportunities they need to work and earn online.

Online work has become an important part of the modern economy, creating new opportunities for young people to access jobs and participate in the digital economy.

The ICT Hub (Jitume) and Job Centre at Kathangariri Vocational College in Nginda Ward, funded by the Manyatta NG-CDF.

These facilities are designed to provide our youth with access to digital skills, online work opportunities, internet-enabled resources, and a conducive environment to build sustainable digital careers.

DELIVERING BETTER PUBLIC SERVICES THROUGH MODERN ADMINISTRATION

We have officially handed over the newly completed Kihumbu Assistant Chief's Office at Karurina, Gaturi South, and the Kithungururu Assistant Chief's Office in Kirimari Ward.

The Kithungururu project, including the construction of the office and the purchase of the land on which it stands, was fully funded by the Manyatta NG-CDF.

These modern offices will improve service delivery, strengthen community security, and provide Assistant Chiefs with dignified working environments. We will also equip all Chiefs' and Assistant Chiefs' offices with furniture to enhance their operations.

NDUNDA PRIMARY SCHOOL TRANSFORMATION TAKES SHAPE

Following the successful completion of the two-storey classroom building at Ndunda Primary School, we have now commenced the construction of a modern Administration Block

To further support the growing learner population, we have also completed the construction of modern ablution facilities, ensuring improved sanitation and a better learning environment for our pupils.

Additionally, we have delivered 200 desks and chairs for learners, alongside office furniture for teachers, creating a more conducive and comfortable environment for both teaching and learning.

To enhance the school's accessibility and overall appearance, funds have also been allocated for landscaping works and the construction of cabro pavements within the institution.
