We invite you all to cooperate with us to achieve the construction of the charitable endowment project for the An-Najah Islamic School. (Introducing An-Najah Islamic School) An-Najah Islamic School is the oldest Islamic educational institution in Garissa and one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Kenya, where it was founded in 1382 AH (1961 AD). The school includes the primary, intermediate and secondary levels and has remained a strong pillar of Islamic education. Over the past years, thousands of Muslim children have graduated and provided them with pure Islamic knowledge. A large number of its graduates have assumed prominent leadership positions inside and outside Kenya. Since its establishment, many of its graduates have joined international scientific institutions around the world. Islamic world. About 500 students are now studying at its various levels, taught by 20 teachers in different specializations, and supported by a number of administrators and workers. In the past, the school received most of its fixed funding from His Eminence Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Baz, may God have mercy on him, the former Grand M***i of Saudi Arabia, but the school's support has been cut off since his death, may God have mercy on him. When the fixed source of funding for the school's activities from foreign aid ceased, the school administration began to find an endowment project as an alternative to foreign support. (Charity Endowment Project) God willing, the school’s charitable endowment project will be established on a plot of land of 13,000 square feet (5,500 square meters) that the school was able to purchase several years ago with the support of benefactors from inside and outside Kenya. The school’s endowment land is located on a strategic location in the heart of Garissa city, opposite The congregational mosque. The school endowment building was designed to be a modern style consisting of five floors and contains hotel rooms, apartments, a supermarket, a restaurant, shops, offices and meeting rooms. The costs of the charitable endowment project are estimated at 200 million Kenyan shillings, and after its implementation, God willing, its revenues will cover the school’s financial needs. The charitable endowment project will be implemented and managed by professional bodies and experts in the construction and other sectors, under the supervision of a group of scholars and trusted Islamic figures in society. (The idea of the charitable endowment project) The charitable endowment is a stand-alone project and it is an ongoing charity according to the financing system that Muslims have used throughout Islamic history to develop and support community projects and that the benefits of charitable endowments continue through generations and are proven by the hadith brought out by Imam Muslim that “if a person dies, his work is cut off except From three..." Including ongoing charity (charitable endowment). (Charity Endowment Shares) The total cost of building the charitable endowment project is estimated at 200 million Kenyan shillings on a plot of land area of 5,500 square meters, so the cost per square meter is 36,365 Kenyan shillings, which is equivalent to 364 US dollars. (Certificate of minting the charitable endowment share donation) God willing, we will provide the donor with a certificate of minting the donation of charitable endowment shares in the name of the donor or the person who donates to him on behalf upon request.
