Alcohol lies.
Clean. Repeatedly. Convincingly.

Reframe it or you’ll keep negotiating.
Alcohol doesn’t relax you.
It postpones your nervous system bill.

Here’s the mechanism.
It promises relief and delivers delay.
Calm now.
Interest later.

It says you’ll sleep better.
You pass out.
Then wake at 3am wired, ashamed, bargaining with tomorrow.

It says you’re more confident.
You’re louder, blurrier, less precise.
Confidence borrowed from disinhibition isn’t confidence.
It’s debt.

It says it helps you cope.
What it actually does is stop you learning how.
Every drink is a skipped rep.

It says one won’t hurt.
But one reopens the negotiation channel.
And alcohol only negotiates in bad faith.

Final truth.
Alcohol doesn’t ruin lives dramatically most of the time.
It lies quietly.
Night after night.
Until you can’t remember who you were without it.

*"When Grief Meets Recovery: Show Up, Stand Firm, Lift Others."*

*© EAPT in Christ 2026*

Recovery is a journey, not a destination. It does not erase grief, loss, or heartbreak—but it teaches us how to carry pain without destroying ourselves or others.

I have known loss. I have faced betrayal and the fear of losing everything. I have felt the pull of despair. And I have survived—sober—because someone, once, stood with me in love, presence, and understanding.

That is why I have a deep compassion for women in recovery. I do not need wealth or influence to help. I need willingness, presence, and courage. Even the smallest gesture, offered from authenticity, can become a lifeline.

Faith in recovery is not a conclusion—it is lived. It is choosing to remain sober when grief feels unbearable. It is choosing to act with love, even when the world responds with hostility. It is choosing courage over fear, connection over isolation, and hope over despair.

Recovery also teaches that boundaries protect, empathy heals, and scars carry authority. Our pain validates our wisdom. Our endurance empowers others. And when we reach into the darkness to lift another hand toward the light, we create transformation that no setback can undo.

Every day, every resource, every act of care is stewardship. Every choice we make shapes the legacy of our recovery. Across EAPT and EAPT worldwide, we are united not by identical stories, but by shared surrender, courage, and responsibility.

So, show up. Stand firm. Lift others. Offer presence when words fail. Protect sobriety, honor scars, and extend hope. This is recovery at its highest expression—sober, courageous, compassionate, and unapologetically human.

✳️*When EAPT Began, We Were Like This Too*✳️
My message to you — especially the children and woman carrying loss, grief, and displacement.

MY PEOPLE . . .
*© BOYANE 2026*❤️

I want to speak to you plainly today — not as someone above you, not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone who understands what it means to carry pain quietly and survive loudly.

Many of you wonder, *“Have people like me ever really belonged in recovery?”*
People who are unsure.
People who are tired.
People who are intelligent but conflicted.
People who keep showing up, disappearing, returning, doubting.
Children and Women who are grieving losses no one ever helped them name.
People who are homeless — not just without shelter, education, but without safety, without belonging.

*So let me tell you the truth.*
When Early Addiction Prevention and Treatment in Christ began in 2017, people like you were not the exception. They were the majority. EAPT Did Not Begin with the Ready — It Began with the Resistant.

*When EAPT started, the rooms were filled with people who:👇🏽*
1 - Didn’t want to be there
2 - Were brought by force or desperation
3 - Were clever, defensive, argumentative
4 - Missed meetings
5 - Questioned everything
6 - Said, “I am not like these other alcoholics”
7 - And yes — women were there too.
8 - Women carrying grief, shame, abandonment, abuse, loss of children, loss of dignity, loss of safety.
9 - EAPT did not begin as a place of perfection. It began as a place of unfinished people.
10 - EAPT First Tried to Save Everyone — and Almost Destroyed Itself.

In those days, EAPT tried to chase people. They argued with drinkers. They pleaded. They rescued. They covered up consequences. They preached spirituality instead of living it.

And it failed.
EAPT learned something the hard way — and I want you to hear this gently:👇🏽
No one can be pushed into recovery.
No one can be shamed into healing.
Especially not someone who already feels broken.
So EAPT Changed — and Lives Were Saved
AA stopped chasing. EAPT stopped arguing. EAPT stopped rescuing.
And instead, it learned how to stand steady.
They learned to say:
“When you are ready, the door is open.”
No pressure.
No force.
No labels.
That shift saved millions of lives.
Why This Matters for You — Especially the Woman in This Room
Many women drink not because they are weak, but because they are grieving without witnesses.
Grieving:
Children
Marriages
Safety
Bodies
Dreams
A life that never had room to be gentle
EAPT slowly learned this truth:
*Sobriety is not just about stopping alcohol.*

It is about surviving grief without destroying yourself. And that takes time. That takes safety. That takes dignity.

To Those Who Are Unsure or Tired. If you are not certain yet, I want you to know something:👇🏽
*EAPT does not argue with your drinking.*

EAPT does not chase you.
EAPT does not force you.
Not because it doesn’t care —
but because care without boundaries keeps people sick.
The door remains open. Your dignity remains intact. Your timing is respected.

To the Homeless, the Displaced, the Unsettled
If you do not have a stable place to sleep, if you are moving from couch to couch, if you feel invisible to the world — I see you.

EAPT was built by people who had lost everything. You are not an inconvenience here. You are not behind. You are not less deserving.

*MY FINAL WORD FOR YOU!*
I am not here to manage you into recovery. I am not here to control you. I am not here to rescue you.

I am here to walk with you when you are ready. EAPT survived because it learned this sacred truth:👇🏽
*Recovery begins when honesty finally meets safety. And when that moment comes for you — whether today or another day — the door will still be open.*

*You are not failing recovery. Recovery is waiting for you.*

_-Albert Einstein_

When I am feeling the stress or pressure that used to drive me to ni****ne, I remember that I have the power to choose a new response today.

I choose not to simply follow, and fall prey to, my initial emotional reaction to any outside stimulus or agitation. I ask myself whether I can control or change the situation or stressor. I choose to put things in the hands of my Higher Power, and I consider my part in making things better. No matter what may be happening outside of me, no matter what people may do and say, no one has the power to make me feel any particular emotion or feeling. No one can take away my freedom to step back and choose my response.

I see and hear people who react to every little stimulus and agitation. They seem to take it all upon themselves like bricks on their backs, weighting themselves down until they cannot stand it any longer, and must either find escape or collapse.

*Today, I have the power to live differently. Through our Fellowship and with the strength of my Higher Power, I choose to live serenely and without the need of escape.*

Kenyans, Wake Up: The Silent War is at Our Door

The echoes of wars have been heard along the corridors of homes, and also somewhere in America, a young person was spotted struggling with Substances on the streets — invisible to most, trapped in addiction, and walking the fine line between life and death.

Addiction is the only prison where the locks are on the inside. Every addict carries the key, yet most wander blindfolded, chained to cravings, fear, and despair. They walk freely among us, yet their freedom is a myth, a whisper drowned by chemical storms inside their bodies and minds.

This stark contrast is a warning, Kenyans. The devastation we're witnessing abroad is a preview of what has been unfolding here we fail to act decisively. What will we do when these gigantic monsters — drugs, alcohol, and illicit substances — begin driving, creeping, and flying into our communities, stealing futures and lives?

'sWife.

By Pst Chrispine Adoyo

(John 1:44-51)

It was a mixed reaction, some were Happy for the boy, while others were angry at the old woman.

Then someone came out from the crowd who recognized Natasha, Is this not Natasha? The popular pr******te who stays at the popular Orent Hotel? The guys asked and everyone was eagerly waiting for her response.

Natasha took a deep breath. Yes, I was, but not anymore, because the greater one now lives inside of me. His name is Jesus. He saved me from hell, He rewrote my stories, and now I'm a new creature. Old things have passed away, and all things have become new. That same Jesus is still here waiting for you, it doesn't matter how far you have gone, it doesn't matter the sins you have committed. He said, as many who believe in them, He gave them the power to be called the sons of God. I wouldn't have been able to bring this boy alive, but it is the nature of God that He has given us the power to raise the dead and heal the sick. So, for you to know me very well means you must have been patronizing a pr******te very well, so I beg you, to turn around and follow God, because there's a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof is destruction. I have been there and I can tell you there is no way there. Natasha replied and the boy was quiet.

God brought me here for a purpose, and today you have all seen it, what if I didn't accept Christ as my personal LORD and Savior? What I'd I rejected salvation? What if I were still a pr******te? Do you think this boy would have been alive today? Many are dying out there because we refused to make ourselves available to be used by God, and their blood will be required from our hands on the Last Day.

The spirit of the LORD is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. So I asked everyone here today, between light and darkness, which do you prefer? When the roll is called up yonder" will you be there? Natasha was ministering and the power of God came upon the people, and they started praying in the Holy Ghost. She later led them to Christ. And they were happy, and she turned around to go then she saw the Joy in the hearts of the people, and this made her happy.

Immediately, she crossed the road, still drenched in water, and she heard her name, and she looked up; it was Luisa.

Babe, what is happening? Luisa asked as she drew closer to her.

Nothing is happening, I'm fine, Natasha replied

Why are you soaked in water? You abandoned your car and house, and you are walking about the street with a Bible in your hand, and you are telling me nothing is happening? Luisa asked again

Jesus happened to me, so old things have passed away and everything has become new. Natasha replied

I don't understand! Are you sure one of those Alhaji or those Yahoo boys has not used you for rituals? Luisa asked

Not at all! God is the one using me now, and it's the best place to be. Natasha replied

Follow me let's go and see the Doctor, Luisa Said.

I will tell you everything, then you will understand me, Natasha replied

Tell me! Luisa said. And Natasha narrated how everything happened.

This is confusing, God saved you, so? What about your house and car? Did God also ask you to abandon them? Luisa asked

They are distractions, for now, I don't need them, I need to secure my place in Zion, and I know every other thing shall be added, including cars, houses, just name it. Natasha replied

What? Luisa was surprised

The blessings of God make one rich and add no sorrow, Natasha replied

So I can take everything? Luisa asked

You are free. Natasha replied

Thank you, you can go ahead and secure your place in heaven if you must, that's your business. Luisa Said as she drove off.

Natasha was surprised she didn't know the next steps to take, she didn't even have a place to lay her head. She looked to her right and saw a church. She entered the Church, went to the Altar to pray, and then she fell asleep. That's how she started sleeping in the Church, at night she would pray and sleep, and she would wake up early in the morning before anyone came to church.

She is always the first person to be seated during church service, her dedication to the work of God is unwavering, and she always cleans the whole Church before anyone comes

One day she came early as usual, it was a weekly activity, The Pastor was seated with a few members and the Pastor called on Natasha to come and lead the opening prayers, Natasha hesitated for a while,

Come up, daughter! The pastor said again and Natasha stooped up collected the microphone and began to worship God, she tried to stop but the power of God was so strong upon her, and then she began to pray in the Holy Ghost, she was lost in the worship and for hours she was still praying, she couldn't stop, the anointing was so strong that everyone was screaming,

After a while, Natasha stopped and opened her eyes. She saw everyone on the floor. She was surprised as she dropped the mic and went back to her seat. That was the end of the sermon that day because she had ministered in the Holy Ghost and power the whole time.

The following Sunday the Pastor called Natasha out. What is your Name, young lady? The pastor asked

I'm Natasha by name, Sir.

Where are you staying?

I'm staying with my friend in G.R.A. Natasha replied

After you led the prayers in our last weekly activity I was led by the holy spirit to do this. The Pastor said as he brought out the Anointing oil and began to pray for Natasha,

From today henceforth, I'm putting you in charge as our new prayer band leader since our prayer band leader traveled, and I pray that the LORD Almighty will give you the Grace to stand firm and do His will. The Pastor prayed for her, and she went back to her seat.

A few days later, Natasha's s*x videos were sent to the Pastor. He was wondering who sent them to him. That night, the pastor could not sleep. Who was this Natasha? The Pastor was full of questions.

The following prayer band meeting being the first day Natasha will lead as the new prayer leader, she was seated even before time, waiting for others to come, she prepared very well, and she prayed through the night asking God to take control and help her to do it right

Soon they began to come one after the other, she noticed the expression on their faces, she could not tell what was wrong with them, so after a while, she stood up and asked everyone to be upstanding, but no one answered her, she was confused,

You are not our leader, we cannot have a w***e as a leader, Jessy said

What? Natasha was surprised and Jessy moved close to her and showed her some of the videos,

Natasha ran out of the Church with tears, she didn't look where she was going and she was knocked down by a car, and rushed to the nearby hospital, where she was placed on oxygen because she wasn't breathing

Will she survive? Joan asked

I don't know yet, let's observe her for today. The Doctor replied as a series of tests was conducted on her,

I pray she survives, I have never killed anyone before Joan cried.

Don't worry, madam, she will survive, assured Joan.

Natasha was unconscious as she saw herself on a journey crossing to the other side. She got to a beautiful gate made of gold, and the angel stopped her from entering.

Why? Natasha asked

Because anyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the everlasting lake of fire, the Angel Said

But I'm not a Sinner, I have given my life to Christ, I'm a born-again Christian, Natasha replied, and the son of a man appeared.

You are indeed a born-again Christian, but Revelation 21:8 says: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and w***emongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and liars shall have their part in the lake of fire, which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. And you are guilty of lying. The son of the man said

Lying? How? Natasha asked

The LORD pointed towards a wall and Natasha saw herself on a big screen when the Pastor asked her where she was staying. And she replied that she was staying with her friend in G.R.A., while she was sleeping in the Church.

Forgive me, I didn't want them to know that I was sleeping in the Church, Natasha cried.

No liar can enter the kingdom of God, now follow me, He held Natasha and led her to the other side which is hell, the horror there was scary, the fire was burning continuously as people were crying gnashing their teeth, and asking the son of man to have mercy upon them, "give us a second chance and we will serve you" they were crying and pleading.

Anyone who refused to accept me, this is their place, the Son of Man said

Please forgive me, give me another chance, Natasha held his garment, with tears in her eyes,

I will give you another chance because you still have a lot to do for me, your assignment is not yet over, go back and tell them what you saw here, and warn them because after death is judgment, the Son of Man said. And Natasha woke up in the hospital with tears in her eyes.
