Kids aren’t accommodated. They grow here. They get curious. They get their hands dirty. They start to notice. Guided, not entertained. And somehow… you slow down too.

A different perspective of Lewa House…

From above, you can see how each Earthpod sits quietly within the landscape - spaced out, private, and completely immersed in nature.

It’s not just about where you stay, but how it feels to be here.

A rare moment out on the plains …

A mother cheetah, with three tiny cubs hidden nearby, managed to bring down a gazelle. She fed quickly—aware, as always, that time isn’t on her side.

Before long, two striped hyenas appeared (not something we see often here) and attempted to steal what remained.

Luckily, she had already eaten most of her fill.

Life on the conservancy—beautiful, fragile, and always finely balanced.

Breakfast ..... but make it Lewa.

Fresh coffee, morning light, and elephants drifting in to join us.

Unscripted, unhurried, and entirely unforgettable.

Something new is quietly taking shape at Lewa House…

Tucked amongst the trees with spectacular views to the north, our newest Family Pod is still under wraps - but already it’s becoming something very special.

Designed for families and friends travelling together, it will offer space, privacy, and that feeling of having your own little corner of Lewa.

We can’t wait to share more soon.

After the good rains last year, we've been seeing more and more of the elusive Serval. Such special little cats. This was a great video shot a couple of months back by Ivy and Nate () one one of their first game drives with Murage ....... they also saw another spotted cat on their next drive .....
