Education remains one of the pillars of our development agenda. Among the major milestones we have achieved is expanding access to education through bursary support. We have provided bursaries to students in day and boarding secondary schools, universities, colleges, and TVET institutions, ensuring that no learner is left behind because of financial constraints.
Our commitment is to build an educated, skilled, and empowered generation that will drive the future growth and prosperity of Kandara. We will continue investing in education because every child deserves an opportunity to succeed.

Today, I had the privilege of spending time with parents, teachers, and students at Gatitu and Kariua Secondary School. We held productive discussions on how we can collectively improve our schools and create a better learning environment for our children. I was encouraged by the commitment and ideas shared by all stakeholders.
I also distributed bursaries to the students to support their education and help ease the financial burden on families. Education remains the key to transforming lives, and together we shall continue investing in the future of our children.

Education remains the greatest equalizer, and through these bursaries we are ensuring that no deserving student is left behind due to financial challenges. Together, we continue investing in the future of our children and the development of Kandara."

Bursary issuance exercise at Machegecha, Githigi, Kihuruini and Karugia Secondary Schools was successfully conducted today. The reception was warm, and we had wonderful interactions with parents, students and teachers.

Today, we were in Kagunduini Ward at Mukerenju and Githunguri Secondary Schools, where we distributed bursary cheques and had fruitful engagements with students, parents, and teachers.
In light of the recent unrest witnessed in some secondary schools, I urged school principals and administrators to remain vigilant, uphold discipline, and foster effective communication within their institutions. Through close collaboration between teachers, parents, and students, we can create a safe and conducive learning environment for all.
My commitment to supporting education and empowering our learners remains unwavering.

As I continue engaging with parents, students, and teachers across Gaichanjiru Ward, today I visited Manjuu, Gaichanjiru, Kagira, and Gatituini Secondary Schools, where I distributed bursary cheques to support our students' education.
I encouraged learners to remain focused on their studies and urged school administrations to strengthen discipline, guidance, and counselling programs while closely monitoring students' welfare and behavior. I also emphasized the importance of collaboration between parents, teachers, and leaders in nurturing responsible and successful young people.
My commitment remains to support education and ensure that no deserving student is left behind due to financial challenges.
