Nandi County, Transnep Insurance Brokers Limited and AAR Insurance Roll Out Medical Cover Sensitisation Programme.
The County Government of Nandi, in partnership with Transnep Insurance Brokers LTD and AAR Insurance has commenced a medical cover sensitisation programme for county staff, which will be rolled out across all six sub-counties.
The programme kicked off in Emgwen Sub-County, where county staff were sensitised on the medical cover, available healthcare services, benefits, and how to effectively access and utilise the services provided under the scheme.
The sensitisation exercise is also aimed at promoting preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyles and regular medical check-ups, while ensuring that staff have a clear understanding of the healthcare benefits available to them and their dependants.
The programme is expected to continue across the remaining five sub-counties from tomorrow, providing staff with an opportunity to engage health service providers, seek clarification and gain a better understanding of the medical cover.
The initiative underscores the County Government of Nandi’s commitment to prioritising the health and wellbeing of its workforce. By ensuring that employees are well informed about their healthcare benefits, the programme seeks to contribute towards a healthy, motivated and productive workforce capable of delivering quality services to the people of Nandi.
